These caused the following results. They overestimated the meaning of occupying Seoul, so they lost timing to keep pursuing South Korean foces. Consequently, they were forced to confront the change of strategic situation. Also they could not achieve the decisive edge which might have enabled them to win the decisive victory. Lastly, they were not able to extend tactical outcomes into strategic victory.
The purpose of this study is to perceive the importance of maintaining political purose, objectives, and methods in the course of planning and conducting a plan and to provide the tool and framework for obtaining oerational success. In addition, if these are applid at the strategic, operational and tactical dimensions with the same context, it can be very meaningful.
