In the passing

This was during our trip to Antalya, this is not any particular sightseeing place, it was just in the passing. It was a park where we had stopped for a break time, and it was worth it. There is a water stream flowing, it's coming from one of the water falls, which is nearby and it was our next destination to visit, but before that was chai time and hence this break was needed.

This person is preparing the tea on the sand, and this is a very local thing of the region. below the sand there is coal burning and then there is a pile of sand laid and on top of it the tea is prepared. This gives the tea a very earthy flavor. Have you ever tried anything like this? I have, but not in this trip. In the past when I was a regular tea drinker I have. Its been more then 10 years that I have quit having tea, but I do remember the flavor of it. When I was in the habit of drinking tea, every time I had after that I felt uneasy for sometime. I found out later that I was getting lactose intolerance, and it was only happening with tea and coffee, or other raw forms of milk. Otherwise having it in sweets and cooked dishes is not a problem. So since then I quit having tea. Coffee I love to have, especially Cappuccino, and some times crave for it badly. Once in a year or something like that, I do have one cup of coffee, though after that I do have a sleepless night but then one day I can manage to go through the pain and give pleasure to my taste buds.

And look who I meet here. These are the kind of experiences I enjoy the most.

The water stream is flowing through the park

Whenever I travel, I click a lot of pictures, not only of the final destination but also of all the experiences that happen on the way because I feel sometimes the journey is more important then the final destination and that's where you gather most of the experiences. This little break also turned out to be a very pleasant memory, especially feeding these little ducklings. One of them was a attention seeker and kept coming to us again and again. It was a nice sunny day, I was enjoying the park and hubby was enjoying the tea, after spending around an hour in this place we left for our next destination.
