Fade for Good: When Clothing Become Kindness in Motion
Volunteers sort donated clothes at a charity center. With "Fade for Good," event T-shirts can create more moments like this by turning into donations for those in need.
What is Fade for Good?
Fade for Good is a new initiative launched by Hasan under our SignArm brand on Vendro.shop, aimed at turning event T-shirts into a force for positive change. Unlike typical merchandise, every shirt in the Fade for Good collection is sold at true zero profit – we only charge the base production cost plus shipping, with no markup at all. This means when you order these shirts, you’re paying exactly what it costs us to make and deliver them, nothing more. The goal isn’t to make money; it’s to make a difference by getting these shirts onto people who need them after they’ve served their initial purpose.
You can browse the core offerings through the All Products collection, where the Fade for Good options rotate seasonally.
How It Works – Wear and Share:
The Fade for Good shirts are intended for events and organizations – think volunteer drives, charity runs, company team-building days, school fairs – any occasion where you might normally hand out or sell T-shirts. We require a minimum order of 10 shirts because this program is geared towards group use and not individual purchases. Here’s the lifecycle of a Fade for Good shirt:
Wear it (Briefly): Use the shirts for your event or organization. They’re made to be worn a handful of times – for the event day and maybe a few outings afterward. They’re durable and high-quality, so they’ll hold up just fine for multiple wears. But the idea is not to tuck them away in a closet long-term.
Fade it Forward: After the event and a couple of wears, we ask that you donate the shirts to someone who can truly benefit from them. These could be people in need in your community or elsewhere. Essentially, the shirt “fades” from your use to good use by someone less fortunate – hence Fade for Good.
Zero-Waste, All-Heart: By passing the shirt on, you extend its life and purpose. A shirt that might have been forgotten after an event can instead provide clothing for someone who really needs it. This helps reduce waste and supports a culture of giving.

How to Donate Your Shirts:
We’ve made it as simple as possible to ensure the shirts find a new home. Every Fade for Good order comes with guidance on donating, and we’ll even send a friendly reminder in about 6 months to encourage you to donate if you haven’t already. Here’s what to do once your event is over and you’re ready to donate:
Collect the Shirts: Gather all the Fade for Good shirts that people don’t plan to keep using. It’s okay if some participants want to keep their shirt as a memento, but do encourage everyone to give theirs up for charity if they can.
Wash & Prepare: Before donating, wash the shirts and ensure they are clean and in good condition. It’s important to donate items that are wearable, hygienic, and undamaged – donation centers generally only accept clothes in good condition (no heavy stains or tears). Dry them thoroughly and fold them neatly.
Choose a Donation Spot: Find a convenient donation point. This could be a local charity, a clothing donation drop box, or an organization that distributes clothes to those in need. (We’ve provided a list of options for the UAE and USA below in this post.)
Drop Off the Shirts: Bring the clean, folded shirts to your chosen donation location. If it’s a drop box, simply place them inside. If it’s a charity or shelter, hand them over to the staff or volunteers there.
Spread the Word: Optional but encouraged – let others know about your donation. This could mean sharing a post on social media or telling your event participants. It helps raise awareness and might inspire other groups to participate in Fade for Good in the future.
By following these steps, you ensure your event shirts live on to help others. We will send an email reminder ~6 months after your purchase as a gentle nudge, reminding you to wash and donate the shirts if you haven’t already. We understand life gets busy – the reminder is our way of helping you keep this promise of donating. (Don’t worry, we won’t spam you; it’s just one reminder intended to do good.)
Why Fade for Good Matters:
This initiative was born out of a simple observation by Hasan: too often, event T-shirts are worn once and then forgotten. Meanwhile, there are countless people who could use a clean shirt. Fade for Good bridges that gap. It’s about empathy and responsibility – recognizing that even a humble T-shirt can make a difference in someone’s life. By participating, you’re not only reducing waste (sustainability win!), but you’re also engaging your community or organization in an act of giving. Every shirt donated is a small act of kindness that can ripple outward.
If your group prefers meaningful graphic statements, you might also explore the Dryblend Collection, where comfort meets purpose.
Hasan often says, “a shirt that fades from our closet can bring warmth and comfort to someone else’s”, and that philosophy is at the heart of this project.
A Message from HNR:
“Hello, HNR here. I started Fade for Good because I believe business can have a heart. I’ve seen boxes of leftover event shirts and thought, what if those could become clothes for someone in need? We’re fortunate to be able to print and produce quality shirts – so why not use that capability to help others? I want to personally thank every organization and event team that chooses to be part of Fade for Good. By buying these zero-profit shirts, you’re proving that a great event souvenir can also be a gesture of generosity. I also want to stress that this isn’t about me or my company making any profit – it’s truly about the act of giving. I promise to keep it transparent and honest. If you ever have suggestions or questions about the initiative, my door (or rather, my inbox) is always open. Let’s wear our values on our sleeves – literally – and make sure that even when the event is over, the spirit of caring lives on in someone else’s hands. Thank you for helping a simple idea fade into something really good.”
