Application for Steem Representative 2025 And Booming

Dear Steemit team,

Following your recent update on the need to have a new set of steem Representatives who will then have the added responsibility to select booming support as announced here, I hereby humbly apply to become a steem representative. It is in deed a privilege which I count as an honour to have the chance to apply given the reduction of the steem power requirement to 12,500.

My dedication to the Steemit ecosystem and my commitment to duties since I joined this noble ecosystem in 2020 has not been hidden. I have demonstrated that I am here for community building and capacity development, assisting both old and new users and training moderators. My consistency and commitment is a marvel to all and I am willing to serve in the capacity of steem representative if the opportunity is given to me.

My Activities

Since July 2020 when I joined Steemit, I have held several positions ranging from ordinary user who actively shared publications to different community moderator to Country representative (from 2021 till 2023) to being an admin of communities to Curators and many more including contest organizer.

I have also been very supportive to other steemians, supporting them through upvote, comments and giving advice on both WhatsApp, Telegram and discord.

I have also been instrumental in organising meetups in my city and country where users are supported and encouraged to follow the Steemit team's projects and rules.

Community Involvement

I have been actively involved in various communities in the past as both moderator and community administrator but presently, I am currently the admin of steem kids and parents community, actively monitoring the activities of the moderators through guidance and supervision, going through all publications to ensure they are all shared on X (twitter), making sure that all publications are visited, making all publications for that community and supporting users with the community account (@steemkidss). This shows that my activities goes beyond my personal publications. My dedication and understanding of Steemit ecosystem has helped me to navigate the activities of this community successfully, following the rules of the Steemit team.

I have been managing booming support for the said community without bias, following the provided guidelines.

Current Steemit team's Rules/ projects that I support

Powering up at least half of my liquid steem is a major requirement that is encouraged my the Steemit and I am glad to be part of club5050 presently.

I am also a supporter of burnsteem25 project. From time to time, I do set my publications to burn at least 25% of the earnings of those publications.

I have been publishing publications free from Plagiarism and AI and I have not been doing account farming or delegated my sp to any bid bot service.

Why I Would Make A Good Steem Representative

Having spent 4 years and counting on this blog, I have gained experience in almost all the activities of the blog and this has earned me more understanding of how the blog works. Having been consistent and patient, I have been able to grow to be an encouragement to most users. I have demonstrated resilience and commitment despite some setbacks in the past and this have been attracted both old and new to the blog.

My duties and roles as community admin and moderator have exposed me to so many publications and users and I have been able to fish out and stopped abuses in the blog on countless times.

My roles as SEC and Curator has also helped me to demonstrate my humility as one willing to serve without giving much attention to the benefits involved.

Having served as a country representative then and as a greeter in newcomers community then, I gained much passion for assisting both newbies and old steemians

Driven by the desire to promote steem, I have organised countless meetups in my city of residence and even the one that involved the entire country. My passion for steem has led me to promote steem through charity in my current project that is aimed at putting smiles on the faces of the children where my team and I have for the past 12 weeks taken food aids to various schools in my locality, letting them know about steem and Steemit.

In conclusion, I will ensure that I discharge my duties as a steem representative accordingly, demonstrating my dedication once again to my one and only Blockchain based ecosystem. It will be a rare privilege which I will be forever grateful for if the opportunity is granted to me.
