Do words have power?

This may or may not be true, it all depends on the observer.

How can this be possible? Words communicate something, an idea, an intention or a desire among other things, that is to say: Words are for and by something, even if at some point we have said something and seconds later we said: - "Sorry, I didn't mean to say that", it is a lie, there was an intention to say such a thing.

Now, there are postulates and theories that we are what we say, this means that we talk about what we are, who we surround ourselves with, what we consume, etc. In the case of decreeing or manifesting (as is heard more often today) that is to say: what we desire and what we want to achieve. What we want to be and have we attribute to a few simple words. Is this power in words? This whole act of proclaiming is to externalize what we feel or think, everything is also externalized with words, so... Words ARE INTENTIONAL, we can wish good or evil to someone.

Is it my word that affects other people? Although the words thrown have an intention, they may not correspond to what my interlocutor interprets. This is where factors such as interference come into play, but I do not want to talk about that today.

For all this finally summarizes the "Power" that we give to the words thrown at us. When faced with an insult, it is we who give or not to those words thrown at us. Do words towards me have power?
