Am happy to be one of the participants of this week class, here is the practical presentation for this week assignment.
1 - Make a "Coleslaw Salad": with the guide presented in this course, add the variant to your liking, (detail utensils, ingredients and step by step).
Base Ingredients:
• white cabbage 100 grams
• purple cabbage 50 grams
• 1 medium carrot
for the dressing:
• half teaspoon of salt
• two sachets of mayonnaise
• 2 teaspoon of sugar
• 1 teaspoon of mustard

I first started by chopping up my purple and white cabbage into a bowl.

I mixed up the white and purple cabbage in one bowl then i crate the carrot into tiny pieces.

After preparing the cabbage and carrots i mixed it all together in a bigger bowl.

I added sugar and salt and mixed it thoroughly to blend.

Then i poured my mixed mayonnaise into the bowl of salad and gave it a good mix then my coleslaw salad was ready to be served.

2 - When preparing this salad, did you eat it as a side dish or as a main course? Explain your answer in detail.
I have always loved to eat salad as a side dish because it complement any dish it is paired with eather fried rice or jollof rice even toasted bread so today after making this creamy salad i just said to my self this will complement my jollof pasta and it didn't disappoint.

I enjoyed every bit of my meal the creamy taste of the salad and some sweet flavor from the mustard make my effort worthy.
3 - Highlight the benefits of the white and purple cabbage, carrots, and the optional ingredient you added to the salad, and indicate the price of the ingredients in Steem.
white cabbage:
White cabbage has a wide range of health benefits it is a very good source of vitamin which includes fiber and vitamin c it support digestion and can also help with weight management.

It is rich in nutrients it can help reduce inflammation also protect the system against cells damage.
Carrot:
Carrot help promote heart health by lowering cholesterol level and protecting against cardiovascular disease.

• use fresh and healthy vegetables
• do not combine too mush vegetables to achieved a good flavor as flavor from two many vegetables can sometimes make it not taste unique as it should
• served your salad semi chilled or allow it sit for a while so the mayonnaise can rest and bring out the flavor of your vegetables.
