Hi friends,
This post is an entry into the weekly Show Us Your California contest hosted by @socalsteemit where we share an aspect of our California.
As you would expect, there are a lot of golf courses in Southern California. Being a golf fan, I also like to play, though life is busy so it is often hard to get out.
My last time out I shot a 92 (par 71) and felt lost (used to shoot mid 80s, with a occasional round in the 70s), so I I have been paying for some golf lessons with a coach. I am 4 lessons in so it was time to see how the progress is translating to the actual golf course…
I ended up shooting an 84, though my short game was bad which is something I haven’t worked on yet. All in all, I could have had a round in the 70s if not for a couple bad chips and too many 3 putts, so I am happy with the progress so far.
Looking forward to getting out there again soon!
Thanks for coming by and checking out a piece of my California.
Brian
