Hello lovely steemfam, I believe we are still on our best behaviour. Rain has actually come to stay for a period of time in my country and it is working real wonders ( no breathing space for the singles like me)
What did you hear about food again? It's actually that thing which gives me great joy. Do I joke with it? Oh no except on rare occasions.
I actually had a lovely portion of pasta yesterday before I could even have the time to think of what to wear to work yesterday, that is how important i attached so much interest in yesterday's meal.
By my calculation yesterday, I actually subtracted heat since all it has been doing is rain day in day out and of such was so confident to put on my long sleeve turtle neck. Not only did the sun struggle with the rain yesterday and made me feel heat liike we were in dry season, my lateness to work made me run some miles just to meet up and clean the place for a meeting which was going to take place in no time making me look all sweaty and sticky.
After my marathon race and getting to tidy the place up, I had to prepare some items which were going to be used for the meeting. As the igbo tradition demands, the absence of kolanut, garden egg and groundnut in any function renders the function automatically null and void, so I took my time to wash them very well.
This happened to be another factor why I regretted my outfit yesterday as I was busy running here and there trying to help my boss fix things, I felt I could exchange my clothe with anyone at that moment because it wasn't funny anymore.
I successfully got to the house after hours of longing to do so, not because I didn't enjoy the office yesterday but because my outfit over did it and made me feel I was indepted to it, I helped myself with some light food and the rest of the day was history.
