I embarked on a journey to Port Harcourt, Rivers State, on a mission to assist my brother, Mfoniso. He had graduated from Kenule Benson Saro-Wiwa Polytechnic (Kenpoly), formerly Rivers State Polytechnic (Rivpoly), Bori, many years ago.

Despite being employed immediately after his National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in Jigawa State, North-West Nigeria, he is still using his statement of result as the certificate was not ready as at the year he was employed. He had yet to collect his Original Higher National Diploma (HND) certificate.

His employer had given him notice to replace his statement of result with the original certificate. Given the long distance between Jigawa State and Rivers State, Mfoniso had requested my help in processing and obtaining his certificate.

The transportation costs by road alone is currently staggering Three Hundred and Sixty Thousand Naira (360,000.00), approximately 1,491 Steem. And the journey do take 2 days by bus. Time is also of the essence, so I offered to assist him.

On Sunday, July 13th, I arrived at the DAKKADA TRANSPORT SERVICES motor park in Ikot Okubo, Uyo, by 1:10 pm. After purchasing my ticket, I took a few photos at the park before our departure.

The journey was smooth, and we arrived safely at the Eleme Junction motor park in Port Harcourt by 7 pm. The journey was almost 5 hours drive and I was so tired.

That evening, I took some time to Chill out at CARL'S WASH AND LOUNCH along old Aba Road with some old time friends in Port Harcourt before retiring to my hotel room.

My mission was far from over, and I was eager to tackle the tasks ahead. The next day was a visit to Kenpoly to start processing for Mfoniso's certificate. Stay tuned for the next part of my journey.
