Many of us are unaware of how much is hidden in our Bangladeshi soil. Many of us do not know how much history, war, love and mystery there is in this soil. Today I am going to tell you a story where I have heard and read that the golden treasure was not just metal, but it was a civilization of a time, a wonder of a kingdom and a symbol of a mysterious past.

How are you all, of course you are all very well. It is really nice to share a story about the old civilization of my country. So thank you @musa-gold and WORLD OF XPILAR community for organizing such a beautiful contest.

Of course I will try to share a story that is really real and in reality it was at some point that we may not have seen but our ancestors are seeing it.

Many of us love to read different stories of different moments in history. Similarly, I read about the Buddhist monasteries in Paharpur in my childhood book. At the time I thought the city might look too small, but maybe it's an old place that was destroyed. But when I grew up and went there once, I realized that this soil is silently crying, whispering stories of a thousand years.

According to folklore, a king hid his gold treasure under this monastery. King Dharmapala, who was the powerful king of the Pala dynasty at that time, built this monastery during his reign not only for Buddhist education, but he built it to protect his own secret treasure.

According to many analysts, there was once a secret tunnel under this monastery. And through that tunnel, one could go to a small room, which was called the "golden room". There were royal jewels of that kingdom, gold statues, and Buddhist religious relics of that time. This room was so secret that even after the main pillars of the monastery were broken, no one ever found it. It still remains unknown to everyone.

Around 1980, an old villager found an old copperplate inscription that had belonged to his grandfather. The letter read

  • If you dig the ground under the lion’s gate on a full moon night, you will find gold guarded by blood. But that gold is not anyone’s, it is only history.”

But suddenly one day, this word spread among the people of the village. Many people believed the story of the letter, while others laughed, saying it was fake and had no meaning. But friends, I think that people’s passion and curiosity for that history was greater than the gold.

Even today, people who go to Paharpur and read this story in their childhood or adulthood stand in front of that lion’s gate in silence. It seems that the ground is shaking under their feet, as if it wants to say something.

In my eyes, gold means this mysterious history. That letter, that king, that hidden treasure are all like a living fantasy. Is gold just jewelry? Or is it that precious past, which is still calling us with its hand?

So friends, I think that my gold story is not only about wealth, but it is also about The glorious history of my country. A piece of gold news can spread the consciousness of a thousand years.

That golden house of Paharpur may still be sleeping underground. I don't know if someone will find it or not. But we know that every centimeter of our Bengali thumb is hidden in a golden underground. I just want to hold my eyes and open my heart. Maybe one day someone's forehead may turn around and the search for that hidden treasure may coincide.

Friends, I shared a small story with you, I hope you liked the story. If you like it, you will definitely share your valuable opinions.

I am inviting my some friends join it this awesome contest @shohana1 @frafiomatale @memamun

There are certainly many countries whose kings and emperors hid their gold for themselves. As you point out, gold was, and even is, a symbol of power.

Thank you for sharing your story and participating in the contest.

Thank you so much for your great feedback my dear

Thank you for entering the contest

It's my pleasure

What would you do if you found this room?
At the same time, no one would have known about your find :)

If I find it, I'll become rich, but to this day, no one has found it, so it remains a story.

Saludos.

You are absolutely right, this has been going on for ages. If there is no curiosity in people's minds, how can people live well? We have to live with curiosity, otherwise there is nothing else to do.

Greetings @mamun123456

The story surrounding Paharpur is interesting. The treasure its soil may hold remains a mystery. Perhaps, one day, such natural wealth will surface.

Thank you for joining the contest.

Thank you so much for your lovely comment. I'm really glad you read my story and enjoyed it. Maybe one day someone will find this treasure, but I know it's not mine.
