My 8 years on Steemit. / Mis 8 años en Steemit.

Eight years ago, I began my career as a blogger, something I never imagined I had so many gifts for writing. A world where writing is rewarding, expressing what you feel, whether fiction or reality, is something that and is shared with other writers.

I began the journey with many doubts, the main one being whether this would actually work, whether it was just a waste of time writing and writing and seeing no results. But my doubts soon dissipated when I finally got around to exchanging my first Steems for my currency and using them to buy food or something. It was real; it wasn't a scam.

I met many faceless people, just a photo or a few words in the comments, and that was enough to get to know each other like we've known each other for years. The whole world on one platform: Steemit.

I had discovered a way to work from home, surrounded by landscapes, posting my experiences, and unknowingly being ahead of the current remote work lifestyle. A way to legally mine cryptocurrency without any knowledge and without the hassle of mining machines and rooms. Simply a computer, an internet connection, and a strong desire to write.

I thank God because Steemit came at a time in my life when I felt that the social customs of my country discarded me as a person, they classified me as a being who could no longer be anyone and that I could no longer do anything as a worker. Steemit helped me prove to myself that I still had a lot to give and that my work capacity is in a better position than when I was married and raising children. I had already overcome that stage and not everyone has this opportunity. It was my turn and I feel very happy and I know that I can still give much more.

I hope to continue my career on this beautiful platform for many more years, continue meeting wonderful and kind people around the world, and have the power to create many posts for all of you to enjoy. Thank you for your company on this journey, and a huge thank you to Steemit, which, despite so many challenges, remains strong with us.

Hace 8 años comencé la carrera de Bloguera, cosa que nunca me hubiera imaginado que tenia tantos dones para escribir. Un mundo en el que escribir es gratificante, expresar lo que sientes, sea ficción o sea real, es algo que se comparte con los otros escritores.

Comencé el viaje con muchas dudas y la principal era de que si esto iría a servir, si no era un tiempo perdido de escribir y escribir y no ver resultados, pero pronto mis dudas se disiparían al llegar el momento de poder cambiar mis primeros Steems a mi moneda y poder darle uso comprando alimentos o alguna cosa. Era real, no era estafa.

Conocí a muchas personas sin cara, solo una foto o unas palabras en los comentarios y ya eso era suficiente para conocernos como desde muchos años atrás. El mundo entero en una sola plataforma: Steemit.

Había conocido una forma de trabajar desde mi casa, con paisajes, publicando mis vivencias, mis experiencias, sin saberlo ya estaba adelantada al estilo de vida actual del trabajo remoto. Una forma de minar legalmente una criptomoneda sin tener conocimiento y sin tantas complicaciones de maquinas y salones de minería. Sencillamente un computador, una conexión a internet y muchas ganas de escribir.

Doy gracias a Dios porque Steemit llegó en un momento de mi vida en el que sentía que las costumbres sociales de mi pais me desechaban como persona, me calificaban como un ser que ya no podía ser nadie y que no podía hacer ya nada mas como trabajadora. Steemit me ayudo a demostrarme a mi misma que todavía tenia mucho para dar y que mi capacidad de trabajo esta en mejor posición de cuando estaba casada y cuidando niños, ya eso había sido etapa superada y esta oportunidad no la tiene cualquiera, me tocó a mi y me siento muy feliz y se que todavía puedo dar mucho mas.

Espero continuar por muchos años mas mi carrera en esta hermosa plataforma, continuar conociendo gente linda y amable alrededor del mundo y tener la musa activa para hacer muchas publicaciones para el agrado de todos ustedes. Gracias por su compañía en este viaje y un infinito agradecimiento a Steemit, que a pesar de tantos problemas, continúa firme con nosotros.
