Today I want to share a wonderful story of travel with you. I hope you enjoy it.

Most of you already know that I absolutely love traveling. Whenever I get some free time, I hop on my wild horse—my bike—and hit the road. Sometimes I head toward unknown destinations, and other times I ride through familiar paths. But when we travel far away as a group, I usually leave the bike behind. In those cases, we travel by bus or train. Still, nothing beats the joy of riding a bike. The freedom to go wherever the eyes lead—whether it’s a wide highway or a narrow village road—is something I truly enjoy. Just like that, the other day I set off along some familiar and favorite roads. Since it's the month of Ramadan, our trips have become a bit less frequent because traveling with a fasting body can be a bit tiring. Still, we manage to sneak out occasionally whenever time allows. Most of the time, I prefer quiet places where there’s no noise just nature all around. I find such peaceful surroundings most comforting.

The road we took that day was just like that—calm and serene. Hardly any vehicles pass through that way, and it stays quiet most of the time. I’ve been there many times before, and every time I go, I feel like going back again. Maybe due to time constraints, we couldn’t stop at many places for long. Every time I go on a bike ride, I’m reminded of the old days when we used to travel even more. Because of our frequent outings, many people had different things to say about us, but we never paid any attention. We always moved ahead at our own pace, trying to stay happy and finding joy in our friendly chats, fun, and little adventures. Sometimes, though, a thought crosses my mind—when everyone gets caught up in their own busy lives, maybe these hangouts and late-night picnics will no longer be possible. Now we often plan sudden get-togethers and picnics, but I know this might not last long. Everyone will eventually become busier. When we were kids, we used to wonder when we’d grow up. But now that we have, it feels like childhood was the most beautiful phase—so sweet, so full of memories. There were no extra worries, just fun and laughter. Even now, I try to take myself back to those childhood moments, but you can’t really force your heart to feel what it once did. Back then, our wants were so small, and even the tiniest things made us happy.

Anyway, after riding around for quite a while, the afternoon slowly turned into evening. As iftar time was nearing, we didn’t delay and started heading home. I couldn’t share all the photos from those beautiful places with you, but I did manage to share a few glimpses of the road while coming back. I hope you enjoyed them. Along with that, I wanted to share a bit of nostalgia and my love for traveling.
