I hope you are doing well Today I want to share snack that I realy lovedAloo Pakora also caled *Potato Fritters This is Very popular snacks in my home and I make it Many time Especialy When I wants something tasty & quick.
Aloo Pakoras is crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. They taste amazing You Can eat them for breakfast as a snack or with Cup of tea in the Evening They are Simple to makes and you dont needed many ingredients just potatoes some spices and besan.
This snack is also special to me because I remember eating it with my family especialy on rainy day or weekends. It bring back happy memorie.
Now I want to show you how I make them step by step. I also added picture and a video so you can follow along. I hope you enjoy this recipe much as I do
Ingredients:

- 2 medium potatoes (cut into thin round slices)
- 1 cup gram flour (besan)
- ½ teaspoon turmeric powder
- ½ teaspoon red chili powder
- ½ teaspoon carom seeds (ajwain)
- Salt to taste
- A handful of choped coriander
- Water
- Oil
Step 1: Prepare the Potatoes
Peel the potatoe & slice them into thin Even round. This helps them cooks Evenly.
Put the slice in a bowl of Water to stop them from turning blacks.
Step 2: Make the Batter
In mixing bowl add:
- 1 cup gram flour
- ½ tsp turmeric
- ½ tsp chili powders
- ½ tsp carom seed
- Salt to taste
Now slowly add water little at a time and mix well. The batter should be smooth and thick not too runny.

Step 3: Heat Oil
Pour oil into deep frying pan & turn on the Stove to medium heat
Wait until the oil are hot enough for frying you can test by droping small bit of batter it should sizle.
Step 4: Coat the Potato Slices
Take each potato slice dip it into the batter and coat it well on both side
Step 5: Fry the Pakoras
Carefuly put the batter coated potato slice into the hot oil
Fry 3 - 4 at time dont over crow the Pan
Let them cook for a few minutes then flip them.
Fry until both side is golden brown & Crispy.
Step 6: Drain the Oil
Remove the pakora from pan & Place them Paper towel to soak Up extra Oil
Step 7: Serve and Enjoy!
Serve hot with your favorite chutney ketchup just enjoy them plain with Cup of chai Delicious & satisfying
