It is very hot in Bangladesh at the moment. And a few days ago, people harvested rice and brought it home. Even though they could not dry the rice due to rain a few days ago, there was continuous heat and strong sun since the day before Eid. Due to which people are drying their rice in this sun. And if you dry the rice in an open place in the sun where there is no shade, then it dries quickly.

And for the same reason, people are now drying rice in the sun in open spaces in our area. No dry space is left out. People are drying rice everywhere in the fields, ghats, roads, and courtyards. And currently people are drying rice on plastic nets, due to which rice can be dried anywhere and rice can be sorted quickly. And to dry rice on this net, you do not need an equal amount of space. Rice can be dried on the net in any open space.

In our area, rice is also being dried in the courtyard of every house and outside the house. Today, a little before noon, I was walking along a road next to my house. Then I saw that my neighbor, a younger brother, was also drying his paddy in a threshing floor in front of his house. Actually, they cultivate a lot of land. The three brothers are drying paddy in three places. Among them, the name of the brother in the picture above is Moktar Bhai.

Moktar Bhai is a very hardworking person. When I was taking his picture, he said that I was making a TikTok video or not? Hearing this, I laughed a little and said that when I saw me, do you think I am a TikToker? Then I said that I was taking pictures and took several pictures saying that. He was spreading his paddy well with a fork. Actually, this is how paddy is dried in rural areas.
