Travel Blog : Traveling by metrorail with younger brother

Assalamualaikum all of my friends. How are you all? I hope you all are well. I am also fine. Today I am here to present you another travel blog of mine on the day I travelled by metro with my younger brother. My cousin had been telling me for a long time to travel by metro so a few days ago I did this trip which I am now presenting to you.

After lunch that day, my younger brother and I prepared for a short pleasure trip. Although we had traveled by metro rail several times before, this trip was still quite enjoyable for us after a long time, so after lunch, we quickly left the house for Motijheel metro rail station.

Basically Motijheel is the first station of the Metrorail station from where the train starts its journey towards Dhaka Uttara via Motijheel. Since we were staying in Motijheel, the Metrorail station is a little far from there, so we took a rickshaw to the Metrorail station.

The weather that day was quite good and the surroundings seemed enjoyable. Especially the gentle breeze of nature was hitting the body and I was feeling peace in my mind. I like to travel in these rickshaws because these small vehicles are good for exploring anywhere. We moved forward while enjoying the beauty of Dhaka city.

After some time, we reached the metro rail station and then I paid the rickshaw driver his fare and proceeded towards the railway station.

After reaching the metro station, we went up the stairs from the bottom because we all know that metro trains run at high altitudes. In this case, we first went up the stairs to buy tickets and board the metro. Although the crowd was a little less than other days, which was nice for me.

When we went up the stairs of the metro rail station, we saw that the upper floor of the metro rail station was completely empty and there was almost no crowd of people there. Moreover, I was even more surprised to see that there was no person at the ticket counter. The main interesting thing is that the metro rail is an advanced technology which we all know that for travelling in this metro rail, tickets have to be collected through a machine and people do not have to waste extra time waiting for the ticket.

Since we were travelling by metro, the first thing we did was to go to the ticket machine, which was completely empty. Since there was no crowd that day and the area around the ticket machine was empty, we were able to collect our tickets to our destination very quickly.

Basically, both me and my cousin collected tickets separately because here it is necessary to collect separate tickets for each person. After collecting the tickets, we reached the high building of the metro rail station through the elevator where we would start our journey by metro rail. After reaching the high building, we saw that the train had not arrived yet, so we waited there for some time for the train to arrive and took some photographs of the railway station.

In a short time or a few minutes, our wait is over and we see that a train is coming towards us. Since Motijheel is the last railway station, it is possible to get a seat in the metro rail if you start your journey from here. Because sometimes due to excess passengers in the metro rail, it is not possible to sit in a seat and have to suffer a little. Since we came to visit, we wanted to start the journey well.

When the arriving metrorail passengers got off and the metro rail became empty, I along with other passengers entered the metro and started waiting for our journey. I saw that many other passengers had also come to travel with us and they were sitting in their seats. Then I took out the metrorail travel tickets from my pocket and started reading the various directions written on them.

After some time, our journey started because the metrorail stopped at the station for a very short time. At the beginning of the journey, I felt quite comfortable because the environment inside the metro rail was quite cool and suitable for the weather, so it was quite pleasant to travel there. I continued to enjoy the environment inside the metro rail and took several pictures while sitting there. Apart from my cousin, other passengers were sitting next to me.

Our destination was Dhaka Uttara which was the last railway station. Anyway, sitting in the train, we continued to enjoy the outside environment and saw that the sunlight was peeking through the gaps in the tall buildings of Dhaka city. Although the sky was a bit cloudy, but still the sunlight was clearly visible. Also, I continued to enjoy every moment inside the metro rail.

It takes about 30 minutes to reach Dhaka Uttara from Motijheel by metro rail, so I sat there and recorded a video on my mobile for some time. Basically, I capture the beautiful surroundings and enjoyable moments through videography on my mobile camera. I could see some other passengers like me recording videos and photography of different places on their mobiles. My cousin started recording videos on his mobile with me.
