I really like the anime character Melissa Moretti from Lord of the Mysteries, a popular anime web series. Now this series is very popular, and my son and his friends often watch this anime series on the big screen. While I saw this anime character, I really liked it, so I decided to draw it for this contest.

The character is very realistic, like a real Korean teenage girl, designed in a very realistic way. Her eyes are blue and her hair is a mixture of black, blond, olive and green. She is slim, but she looks a little plump because she is young and muscular. She is very beautiful. In this post, I'll show you the steps I follow to draw it, and share the photograps of its steps.

Drawing realistic anime style — Melissa Moretti

Required materials

• Pencil
• Eraser
• A4 Size Drawing sheet
• Ruler

STEP 1:

I took a white A-4 size drawing sheet and imagined "Melissa" standing there, leaning her head, and began to draw in a way that suited her physical condition.

STEP 2:

Then I drew an outline to give shape to her head and body structure.

STEP 3:

Then I outline it like she has hair on her head and she is wearing a dress such as a tunic top.

STEP 4:

After that, I started drawing her hair, iris, and petals in some detail, erasing any unnecessary lines.

STEP 5:

Now that I have filled in all the details, I started to give them some dark shadows with a pencil.

STEP 6:

Now I gave her hair a darker shade and also added some dark shadow with pencil to the face and other areas where there are shadows.

After drawing this Melissa Moretti anime character, I took a selfie with it, which I'm glad to share with you.

I have been participating in these competitions continuously. In the last competition, as per the teacher's advice, I rubbed the pencil strokes with my fingers and a tissue to make the pencil strokes invisible in this drawing, so the pencil strokes are not visible in the shadows I have given. I feel something i learned through this contest.
