Our Breakfast was nice// Beans and Plantain.

Hello steemit family, how are you all? I guess you are doing very fine. I am great also. I wish for you all Love, Peace, Good health and Abundant blessings.

In our daily lives we do different things and we do snap pictures to create our different stories with. That's why I always share with you my activities and memories with some photographs which I believe you always enjoy reading and like my pictorial stories.

Today, Saturday 12th July was another exciting day in my life, filled with daily activities, exploration, and of course, documentation. As a habit, I love teaching children, cooking and writing articles about my experiences and taking pictures to capture the moments.

This morning, I had a craving for beans with ripe plantain, a dish I'd been longing for over the week. However, my little son Princewill is not a fan of beans, not that he wouldn't like to eat but to be honest, beans doesn't agree with his stomach. But I needed my fix!

While heading to the market, I took a quick selfie of myself on my way to commemorate the start of my day.

At the market, I purchased 4 cups of beans, 2 bunches of ripe plantain, and other necessary ingredients. As I mentioned in a previous article, Princewill's favourite food is pap, followed closely by ripe plantain before rice.

However you want to cook it, wether fried or boil, my son will eat satisfactorily. I bought 2 bunches of ripped plantain with a plan to fry one bunch for him and use the remaining one for my beans and that's exactly what I did. Before I started to cook, I took some pictures to illustrate this article.

We all know that cooking beans is time-consuming, I didn't want to starve my little boy and I knew Princewill wouldn't even wait for me to finish. So, I fried a bunch of plantain for him to settle his breakfast with while I cooked the beans.

As we sat down to enjoy our breakfast, I felt grateful for the simple pleasures in life. Princewill savoured his fried plantain, and I enjoyed my beans with ripe plantain.
