SC S25W3: Drawing Shojo Anime

I hope you’re all doing accomplished and adoring the astonishing Season 25 challenges. I am really agitated to partake my delineation for Week 3 of this series, which focuses on Shojo Anime – one of the most feverish and visually beautiful genres in the anime world.

✨ Why I Chose Sailor Moon

For this week's challenge, I culled ** Sailor Moon **, one of the most iconic Shojo anime series.
I’ve consistently loved this show for its blend of magical girl adventure and gladdening fellowship and love. Usagi Tsukino( Sailor Moon) isn't just lovable but also veritably strong and emotional, and that’s what I tried to show in my delineation.

• Pencil
• Eraser
• Sharpener
• Black pointer
• Marker colours
• Pencil colours
• Crayons

✏️ Step- by- Step Drawing Process

Step 1

In the very first step I draw the very basic outline of sailor moon face and hair and draw beautifully using HB pencil.

Step 2

In this step I draw the arms, hands and slim and fit body of the sailor moon using my drawing skills and HB pencil. Next, I drew the upper body and added her seaman- style livery with a arc in the middle. I tried to keep it simple but accurate.

Step 3

I used a 2B pencil to add murk to the outfit and a 4B pencil for the hair. Also I outlined her iconic hair buns and long lacings.

Step 4

Using the guidelines, I shaped the face and drew the large, suggestive eyes typical of Shojo characters.
I gave special attention to her eyes, making them candescent and emotional – the key to landing Shojo beauty!
I added highlights to the hair and accessories. also I gutted up my lines with an eraser to make the delineation neat and polished.

Step 5

In this step I coloured the hair of the sailor moon using different shades of yellow and orange and colour her beautiful long hair using them.

Step 6

In this step I coloured the clothes of the sailor moon using different shades of the red and blue colour and colour the outfit with full carefully.

Step 7

In this step I almost colour the whole sailor moon drawing using different types of colour like pencil and marker and crayons and completele the colouring of it.

Step 8

In the last step I write my username and date of the post on the left side of the sailor moon and now it's looks very beautiful and fantastic and it's ready Fory dear steemians.

💬 Final Thoughts

This is such a fun challenge for this week.Drawing Shojo anime always brings me joy because of the emotional depth and creativity it offers. I hope to ameliorate indeed more in the coming weeks. I also enjoyed reading about different Shojo styles like Takeuchi and Nakahara – veritably inspiring!
