Assalamu Alaikum Traveler Steemian friends. Hope you all are well. By the grace of God I am also well. Today I'm here to participate in this week's Atlas Engagement competition. Today's topic is The Steemit Challenge Season 25 Week 05 - Institutions. This week, @miftahulrizky is in charge, thank you for running it smoothly.

We travel to different parts of the world at different times. Traveling is very important for healing our mind. Traveling refreshes the mind and relieves a depressed mind. So we should travel once every week. So anyway I visited the traditional royal college in Rajshahi a few days ago. I will present that travel story to you. First I took an autorickshaw from Rajshahi city and left for that college.

Anyway, coming to the real point, I took an auto rickshaw and went to that college gate. Rajshahi College Gate is very beautiful and beautiful to look at. The gate is like a human mind. After entering through the gate, the first thing you will see is the administration building of the college. It is made with red and white colors. Its color is so beautiful that it can be seen by anyone even from a distance. So I went there and first took some pictures from the front of the administration building.

History of Rajshahi College

This Rajshahi College was established in 1873. Then our country has no address. Bangladesh was not born then. It was built 100 years before Bangladesh became independent. So it was studied during the time of kings. Anyway this college was very nice to see. I am very satisfied with this place. From there we walked to the 2nd entry gate.

Through this gate we entered and continued walking for some distance. A huge plum tree was seen in front. So these trees have been brought from other countries and planted in the college. I took pictures standing under this tree and next to it is a huge lotus pond. My cousin was in front of this lotus pond and I took a picture of him.

Lotus Pond Area, located on the Rajshahi College campus, is widely known as a historical and aesthetic place. This pond is located to the east of the college and the shade of the trees around it and the quiet environment bring a kind of peace to the minds of the students. As the name suggests, Padmapukur once bloomed here, which can still be seen sometimes. In front of this Padmapukur, a huge signboard has Padmapukur written as the logo.

Some other interesting places in the college

The day we visited was a holiday. So it was very easy to photograph us as there were no students in the college. But we could not enter further as we did not have time. There are actually many other buildings inside that require access to visit. Where only students of that college can enter.

So we came from there towards the side of this building and after coming here we saw a huge field. That's basically the playing field there. There are many flower tops on its edge and the tub has different types of flowers and fruit trees.

They looked very nice. In the following pictures you will see how clean this college is kept. Basically, it seems that there are not so many clean colleges in our Dhaka division. Anyway, there is a huge shimul tree next to it. The car is parked under the trees.

So it was great and I took a picture of it. There is a neat nursery at the very back of the college where various fruit and flower trees are planted. Colorful banners have been painted on every corner of the road. The garden site looks very neat and clean.

If you go a little further from there, you will see a clean walking path that maybe leisure people walk on. Sometimes people use this path to spend their private time apart from college time. On the left side of the path there is a walkway which might be the college canteen. There are trees on the side of the path and some strange flags are hanging, maybe it is some symbol of that college. The gate on the side of the path and even the bottom of the trees are painted.

The grounds of Rajshahi College campus are very beautiful to look at. If you take a picture from a distance, you can understand that this is a scene of a royal college. When I see the red college campus under the coconut trees from a distance, there is a huge field in front of it. There is a separate field in front of each department, which is very clean. When the campus is running, many students roam around in that field, but I went on a closed day and saw that there were no people. During the sports season, various sports tournaments are held in these fields in which students of all departments participate.

We visited various departments of this campus for a very short time. We took a few pictures from in front of the departments, which are described below.

• Department of Statistics : This department is known for its modern data analysis, probability and research-based teaching and research. It has computer labs and laboratories for the students.

• Department of Physics: This department has advanced labs, modern machinery and research opportunities to provide theoretical and practical education in physics. It is an important building for science students.

• Department of Mathematics & Sociology: The Mathematics Department building is located in a relatively quiet and research-prone environment. There are opportunities for higher mathematical analysis and theory.

• This building has classrooms, laboratories and adequate rooms and resources for teachers to learn various perspectives and theories of sociology.

• Psychology Department : This section teaches psychology theoretical and practical. There are counseling rooms, psychological testing equipment and research facilities.

• Department of Zoology : The Department of Zoology has modern biology laboratories, microscope facilities labs and sample collection. This is an important place for biology students.

• Department of Political Science : The Department of Political Science of Rajshahi College is one of the most important departments of the Faculty of Humanities. It teaches about the structure of the state, its functioning, governance, international relations, and political theories.

In this way, there is a huge parking space on the left side right in front where everyone from the staff of the college to the students can park their own vehicles. Parking is prohibited for outsiders. It is used only for all the people related to the college.

Private cars, bikes, bicycles and necessary vehicles can be parked in the parking space. There is no need to pay any money for parking. Although I could not visit the departments inside due to the college being closed. However, an official's car was parked on the parking side.

We went to visit this college with very little time. But this short time our mind was connected. We fell in love with this college. I felt that I got admission in this college. But luckily for us, this college doesn't exist. So I took many pictures from this college and spent some time outside that college for tea.

Some information about Rajshahi College : This college was established in 1873. Rajshahi College is the third oldest college in Bangladesh after Dhaka College and Chittagong College. Rajshahi College is the best college in Bangladesh based on 2015 data of 685 undergraduate and postgraduate colleges affiliated to National University. This college was the first in Bangladesh to offer Master's degrees. It is the proud college of Bangladesh.

So this was my trip to Rajshahi college. I really enjoyed this trip. I will remember this trip for the rest of my life because this college has remained in my memory. I want to go to this college again, but I will tell you that you should also visit this college. All of you will feel better if you go to this college. All of you are invited to this college.

• Being a government college, there is no monthly/annual tuition fee. However, the exam fee, ID card, registration, etc. per semester is approximately BDT 6000–7000 taka. This is equivalent to 48-56 USD.
