The theme of the engagement challenge is The Steemit Challenge Season 25 Week 05 - Institutions. Today I will share with you about Bangladesh Open University, a very important educational institution in Gazipur district. So let's get started. First, let's know some descriptions of Bangladesh Advanced University.

Bangladesh Open University was born on October 20, 1992, according to the law enacted by the Bangladesh National Parliament. Bangladesh Open University is particularly committed to developing knowledge through versatile educational technology, and to building a well-educated and self-reliant nation in remote areas of the country. There are open universities in different parts of Bangladesh.

An advanced university has its main campus located in Boardbazar, Gazipur district. A huge gate comes to everyone's attention when entering the campus. Inside this campus there are different departments and department buildings. The environment here will explain to you what is open. That is, the environment here is very beautiful and when you enter from the gate, you will see a huge open or freedom memorial statue. There are small and various types of flower trees and green grass on the side of the road.

At the beginning of the campus, there is a building of a huge size and aesthetically beautiful design where the functions of the auditorium are usually performed. When I went, it was afternoon and the schools and colleges here were closed. There are lights and CCTV cameras on both sides of each road. Numerous students come here to study and if any student has a problem in different departments, they have to come to this campus and solve it.

All the activities of the university are conducted from this campus by the Board of Governors, School, Finance Committee, Curriculum Committee, etc. as per the decisions and policies of the Open University (1992) Act by the university authorities. There are Baubi schools, primary schools, colleges,. There is a good canteen system for the students. Besides, there is a mosque for prayers.

In front of each department building, there is a large field and beautiful roads. There is a residential area inside this campus. In addition, they have kept paintings as a memory to retain the old traditions of rural Bengal in Bangladesh. There is a playground for children and various rights. Everything inside this campus is clean and well-decorated. That is, just by walking inside this campus, you will understand what freedom is and that is why it is called an open university. Because open universities provide opportunities for education to all ages.
