When I was little, I saw a movie about a ghostwriter. He was working for the British prime minister, and he did a good job. His writing was spectacular, even when it was impromptu. This character made me interested in the role of a ghostwriter, it made me love writing even more because I suddenly could see a good reason for writing, knowing that it can save lives and make people better without them even knowing who did it.
Most people write to be famous or create wealth and all other accolades, which is not bad though. But a ghostwriter mainly writes because that is what he does, not caring for attention or popularity. His work is mainly anonymous yet creating impact, that's a huge motivation for me.
