Today let me share to you an entry for this contest organized by @ruthjoe. I want to share this to you because this is so special to us.

Last week, mama and papa is celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary. Its so long and thank God they are still together. They are going stronger with the help of God's grace. I can still remember long years ago that mama and papa were not in good terms. But thank God they are back together and with the help of God they are getting stronger. I am grateful and so blessed for having them as our parents. They are not perfect but they made us who we were right now becaus of their hardwork.

And since it was weekdays, and everyone is working so we just decided to surprise mama. My preggy sister cooked delicious pork sinigang plus bam-e.

After work, I bought their favorite yema cake and 2 icecream.

Celebrating wedding anniversary, simple or extravagant is a beautiful journey of love, commitment and being together for long years. It is a celebration after all the challenges, and any season of life, they were able to stood up each other and supporting one another.

It is important to celebrate like any other occasions because it will helps us strengthens our relationship, honors the memories we had in the past and express how grateful we were in the past. These moment helps us pause for a moment and reflect all the journey that we had, all the ups and downs that we shared.

We surprised our parents because they are so dear to us. It is just so simple yet they felt the joy after the surprise that we made.
