The Dairy Game: Mondays Reflection (7-07-2025)

Nhie Mfon

It's morning but unlike every other Mondays, today seems exciting. I can't explain why but I feel like today will be fun. I woke up very early and laid on the bed for a very long time before joining the rest for morning devotion. After devotion, I went to have my bath and also do my vocals. I had pap for breakfast and headed out for school with my brother.

Breakfast

I waited at the main road for a very long time before I could board a tricycle. I finally got in a bus, bid my brother goodbye and headed to school. When I got to school the first class had already begun. We were supposed to submit our book review this day. But after the first class, it was announced that it has been postponed. After the class, I met with my friend, Jemimah. She complimented my dressing. I stayed with Jemimah for about four hours. We talked about a lot of things. Form school, to church, to our personal experience. She told me about her new job as a sales person. She complained that the pay was bad but she just needed to do something to help her support her mum. We also discussed about our birthdays which will be coming up soon and how we don't have any plans for it.

We went to eat before heading to class. When I got to class, the lecture wasn't available. Grace and I complained that we were very pressed and Idars suggested we should visit Chicken Republic to use the toilet. We sat there for a while because it began raining as soon as we were about to leave. We got a call from our assistant course rep that class was about to begin so, we headed back to school.

The last class was very boring but I managed to listen and write. I began raining heavily after the class so we couldn't go home immediately. When the rain stopped and we got to the main road, it was difficult to find a bus going out direction. When we finally did, we had to pay extra charges. This is one of the reasons I hate rainy days.

Rainy Days

I had my bath with hot water by the time I got home. I rubbed hot balm on my leg and went to bed. I slept till evening before woke up to arrange and prepare food for the next day. Well, even though my Monday was a bit tasking, I didn't really feel it. Maybe I have gotten used to Monday stress.
