The Dairy Game: A Delightful Friday (4-07-2025)

NHIE MFON

Fridays for me, has always been one of the exciting days of the week. It's always fun-filled day. I don't have classes so I just stay at home and enjoy. So this Friday when I woke up, we did our family devotion, after which I went back to bed. I laid on the bed and surf through my socials. I stumbled on a vocal training and I decided to try it. After my warmups, I went out to do my chores. I thoroughly cleaned the whole house.

SWEEPING THE HOUSE

While doing my chores, I received a message from a friend asking me to help him get bedsheet. After my chores, I had my bath, dressed up and left to get the bedsheet. The first shop I stopped at had really lovely bedsheets but they were very expensive, so I left for the market.

THE FIRST TWO BEDSHEETS I INTENDED BUYING

It took a while before I could get a bus going to the market. When I finally did, I met my neighbor on the bus and she was going to the same area.

ON MY WAY TO THE MARKET

It had rained all through the previous night, so the market was flooded. After working for a while, I finally saw a bedsheet stand. I met the man and bought the bedsheets at a very cheap rate. The seller was very friendly and accomodating. He tried to talk me into buying other things which I would have, if I had enough money on me.

THE BEDSHEETS I GOT FROM THE MARKET

The seller took me to the seamstress place where I could see my pillow cases. I had to wait for a while because, other people where there. The lady smiled at me warmly and gave me a bench to sit and wait for her. When she was done with others, she sew my pillow cases neatly.

WHILE SEWING MY PILLOW CASES

When the lady was done, I thanked her, paid and left. I boarded a tricycle to my friend's house. When I got there, I laid the new bed sheets on the bed and it suited perfectly with the color of the walls. He was so excited and he thanked me for helping out.

THE ONE OF THE NEW BEDSHEET

We sat together and gisted for a while. We ate corn and pear together. I also helped him sweep and arrange his house. By the time I was done it was about time for choir rehearsal. We left the house together because he had to go give his projector for repairs. I got home, changed up and headed to church with my friend. We had youth fellowship and I led in praise session. We spent about two hours in church and it was impactful. It was really late by the time I got home because I was trekking with my friends. When I got home, my sister prepared rice for dinner.

DINNER

After eating, I gisted with my mum and sisters before retiring to bed. Fridays are also enjoyable. Thank you so much for engaging. Have a wonderful day.
