Who goes there, said the owl?!
It was a perfect tree for the set up so I embellished it a bit.
As mentioned in yesterday’s post, we did go to Boulevard Park to hike the boardwalk and see what there was to see. At first, we kind of thought the place was mostly empty. The further on down the boardwalk we went, the more obvious it was that people were on the move rather than lazing on the grass.
Part of the reason perhaps was that the day seemed almost like one you’d see in the wintertime minus the rain. It was cool-cool enough you needed a jacket especially with the wind that was blowing! I think folks were keeping warm by walking. 🙃
There were lots of lines out for crab pots.
Alfred the Seagull was out and about!
Not to be outdone, was a birdie of another feather.
The cornflower with its periwinkle blue is extremely prolific this year. It’s everywhere I look!
@actifit-lamb came along, but she didn’t want to get out of the backpack. I think she’s become shy since she’s been staying home much of the time.
After the hike, we stopped to get coffee and then headed to Walmart for some-day to day stuff along with some supplies for our church’s VBS the week of the 28th.
Once home, @silvertop mentioned my rose was blooming, so I went to see and sure enough, it was! So pretty and pink and fragrant!
I figured it had been eaten again by one of these…..
She was in the front yard when we pulled up. They like my rosebud heads and this rose has been the only one to bloom because they eat them. However today, she was eating the fallen apples off the apple tree. I like having the deer around. They seem to know our yard is safe. I just wish they didn’t like the rosebuds! 🙄
That’s it for today. I’ve got many more photos to share from today and will save them for upcoming posts.
Take care and have a blessed Sunday! Enjoy the rest of your day wherever you are! 🙏🌏🙏

NKJV Romans 5:1-5
Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom also we have access by faith into this grace in which we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.
