Your Life on Screen

Hello there.

Greetings to you my friends. It's been an amazing week of contest so far and a lot of interesting exercise we have carried on here. Watching movies and telling them the way they are. So amazing! This week is not entitled to any of a specific character, but reflecting our personal lives on screen. This give me the opportunity to elaborate on one of my top most movie of all time.

Most often times, people often revisit movies and rewatch based on how relatable the characters reflects on their personal lives. It is such a common case as some of these scenes reflects our personal lives. Carrying on, when I saw this exercise, one movie came to my head. I have rewatched the movie several times so us to picture out some things which I can really better off in real life.

Watch a movie that reflects a part of your identity, culture, or experience

The perfect match, is a movie which is relatable to me and so many aspects. It is a movie that was released in 2016 featuring the genre, comedy/romance. The plot summary goes as thus.

The film began, with Charlie who is featuring as the main character, who happens to be a Playboy, having multiple affair with women. In his philosophy, he thought he could not fall in love with women as he finds it difficult to continue with the same woman once he has had an affair with her.

He continued in the same light, until one of his friends was getting married. They tricked him to date and keep one woman till the wedding is complete. He accepted to the bet to date and keep one woman until his friend's wedding has come to pass.

But then there was this girl Eva Who happens to visit Charlie's Enterprise to present an application which they believe will sell out. Charlie did not have time to catch up with her before she left. They just glance at each other while she move away.

Fortunately, Charlie happens to be taking an ice cream with his friends discussing on issues related to girls. So his greatest surprise Eva walks in To purchase her ice cream. Charlie got completely lost and mentioned to his plan in a common slang, "I will tear that ass". His friends scolded him asking him if it is Always about smashing girls. Before leaving they had an encounter and Charlie happens to give Eva his card.

Surprisingly on an afternoon, Eva texted Charlie. He agreed to meet with her at some place. Finally, they met for the first time and Eva asked Charlie if he really thinks he knows all about girls. Charlie replied. Teach me what I don't know. Eva proceeded to ask him if he is ready to mingle. No strings attached. Charlie smile at her and told her he is ready.

They continue to meet each other on several occasions until, Charlie happens to accompany his friend who is getting married to pick a suit. To his greatest surprise, Eva was there trying out her wedding dress. Charlie, moving towards the direction, notice her and simply commented Nice dress. He then walked out shocked of what he has seen.

His friends quickly accompanied him. The next day was his birthday, but he came back drunk and wasted. His friend's has organized a surprise birthday party at his place, but him being heartbroken didn't appreciate this and in turn sent out everyone out of his house. He didn't end there but insulted everyone present.

It turned out Charlie who happens to believe he could never fall in love has fallen in love for Eva. Now he is heartbroken and saying to himself he will never try it out again.

Trailer.

This movie reflects my life back in the University. I usually was not a type or was having time for girls, however I just flirt with them, until one of my friend's advise me to go for one of these girls who was actually pretty. I decided to give a try and actually commit to someone, but in the end she happens to have a boyfriend all along and she has been Flirting with me equally while I was taken her serious.

Whenever I watch the perfect match, reflects strictly to my life back then. Because of that scenario, I pick a few things which I could better my life with when it comes to emotions and falling in love.

Mention 5 things from the movie that motivated you to keep pushing in life.

Focusing on the genre of this movie, there are a key few things which motivated me to keep pushing in life when it comes commitment and relationships.

  • Don't play with people's emotions, as karma is real. There's often this saying. What goes around comes around. You think you are doing someone dirty, the same thing could eventually return back to you.

  • I Equally use it as a motivation to to strengthen my emotions to take things easy with a simple but more cautious approach.

  • Understanding women is not something we can bet about. There are particular persons which we might think we know them so better until it turns out to be We have little to no clue of what they are capable of. In that aspect I am more cautious when it comes to those criteria.

  • In the end, Charlie has to move back to his friends for forgiveness for acting out so childish on his birthday. His friends understand he was heartbroken and accepted him back in the crew. This taught me a lesson that mistakes are inevitable but fixing them is what we should prioritize most.

  • I understand that some things comes with a certain age of maturity. Charlie was naive back then, still living his high school dream even as an adult, same with me back in the University. But however, as you grow you begin to see things in a better way and learn to appreciate people's emotions.

Who was your favorite character? And why?

Charlie happens to be my favorite actor in this movie as his lifestyle and interactions just reflected my life back in the University. The role he played was so matching to my lifestyle. However, he played it so well that it looks so real and equally he possessed this characteristics of a Playboy, his looks, lifestyle and the way he handles this part was really amazing.

Mention at least 2 movies you have seen this year that inspired you and why they did.

2 movies that I have watched this year which really inspired me "The banker, and The space between us." The banker is a movie which is mostly focused on investing in real estate and various ways of managing, channeling and multiplying income. I love it so much as it was referred to me by someone.

I am looking forward to getting more acquisition on entrepreneurial skills and one of them is finances. This movie helps me a lot to see how money works and the various ways to invest in money and equally the lifestyle of the rich..

The space between us Is the movie on Space exploration and life on other planets. The meantime, our main focus is Mars. This happens to be a crew who travel to Mars and had to set up a account there. One of the astronauts happens to be have been pregnant before leaving Earth. She gave birth on Mars and the child grow up on Mars.

Returning to Earth, the child has grown tall than usual. And it was so impossible for him to walk normally like any usual Being as he experience more gravity on himself which is not usually the case when on Mars. He feels more heavy on Earth, that is why he walks while dragging his legs right after the ground. It is a movie which tells us how living on our planet would affect us when we return to Earth.

Behold, it was an amazing exercise, and I really enjoyed it so much. Most often we don't happen to see our lives on screen, but I am so happy I happen to come across a movie which actually pictured one aspect about me which I had to grow out from it. Thanks to the organizer for bringing out this amazing exercise..

I look forward to reading more realistic and interesting storylines from;
