Hello steem4Nigeria and the host @ruthjoe for organizing this contest and the opportunity to express some to this things that that are needed to establish a strong relationship.
It is very true that strategy relationship has a vital role in the success of man. It is also true that it is more beneficial to establish an healthy relationship than sacrifices. I’ve also come to realize something very special and strong about relationships: that an healthy relationship aren’t built on perfection. They’re built on, sincerity , truthfulness, and trust.
On the basis of intimate relationship the factors include: love, presence, patience, communication, active listening, tolerance, forgiveness and a deep, quiet kind of love that doesn’t always shout, but never leaves.
An healthy relationship is crave by every one, where we can be our raw, unfiltered selves and still be loved. But the truth is, that kind of connection takes time… and heart.
What do you believe is the number one secret to a strong relationship? |
---|
I believe the number one secret to a strong relationship is choosing each other, every single day.
Yes, even though Love alone is not enough but it is the most important and the first that leads the way., . "It’s the daily decision to stay, to understand, to forgive, and to grow together". It’s waking up each day and saying, “I still choose you” even when things aren’t perfect, even when life is heavy, even when you both mess up love pave the way for togetherness forever.
What role does active listening play in building stronger connections? |
---|
Active listening , not just listening but listening with reasoning, seeing the reasons to always listen, before conclusion. It is a heartbeat of deep connection. It’s more than just hearing words it’s about feeling them. It means putting away distractions, looking someone in the eye, and being fully present in their world.
"When we truly listen, we show the other person that their thoughts, feelings, and experiences matter". That they are seen and valued. It builds trust, heals wounds, and creates a safe space where both people can open up without fear of being judged or ignored even in anger moment.
Can a relationship survive without forgiveness? Why or why not? |
---|
It is a capital "No", a relationship cannot truly survive without forgiveness at least, not in a healthy or lasting way.
Every relationship is made up of two imperfect people who through forgiveness are being made perfect to co-exist and maintain a strong relationship.
Mistakes are inevitable , it will happen, the beauty of it is that when it happens, forgiveness correct the mistake to perfection.
Words will be said in anger. Expectations will be missed. Without forgiveness, every hurt becomes a wound that never heals. Over time, those wounds turn into walls and barriers that block love, trust, and intimacy and destroy relationships.
"Forgiveness doesn’t mean forgetting or pretending everything is okay". It means choosing healing over bitterness, choosing the relationship over ego. It’s saying, “You hurt me, but I still see your worth. Let’s grow through this together because I truly love you and in your wrong am seeing my strength, strength of forgiveness and letting go.
So without forgiveness, a relationship may exist, but it will never thrive to a strong relationship.
What’s a common mistake people make in relationships that weakens them over time? |
---|
One common mistake that slowly weakens relationships is taking each other for granted.
Misplacing care and love to be a weakness. In the beginning, we cherish the little things the good morning texts, the effort, the presence, the laughter. But over time, familiarity can make us forget to appreciate what we once prayed for. We stop saying “thank you.” We stop noticing the effort the feeling valued, the connection starts to fade and the relationship fade gradually.
Conclusion |
---|
To summarize everything in one word, "strong relationships aren’t built on grand gestures they’re built on daily choices to love to listen, to forgive, to tolerate, to appreciate, and to never stop choosing each other at all time".
