It was a truly special afternoon, spent with my beloved little family. The sunny weather and gentle breeze made for a relaxing stroll. This afternoon, our journey led to the Simpang Rangkaya area, a bustling area known for its numerous fresh fruit stalls. My goal was simple: to satisfy my beloved wife, who had been craving durian since morning.

Upon arrival, the atmosphere was bustling. Several fruit stalls lined the roadside, stacked with healthy tropical fruits like rambutans, mangoes, oranges, and even durians. The distinctive aroma of durian immediately greeted our nostrils as soon as we approached one of the stalls. After browsing and weighing several fruits, I finally decided to buy two durians that looked plump and perfectly ripe. The seller was friendly and offered me Rp. 50,000 for both durians. Without much haggling, I agreed, as they appeared to be high-quality fruit.

Not only durian, we were also intrigued by the grilled pulot sold at the stall next door. This grilled pulot, made from sticky rice, paired perfectly with the durian, creating a distinctive sweet and savory flavor. After purchasing everything, we sat on one of the benches around the stall, enjoying the durian and grilled pulot together. This simple moment felt so warm and together. Seeing my wife smile with satisfaction and our little daughter's curiosity about the pungent aroma of durian filled my heart with peace and joy.

After finishing the durian and grilled pilot, I returned to the stall to pay for the rest of the afternoon's purchases. Time had passed quickly, and the sky was starting to darken. We headed home happy and full. This simple afternoon trip provided our little family with beautiful memories of togetherness, gratitude, and love that continue to grow in simplicity.
