Share with us one captivating picture about anything at all and tell us the story

The picture above is a picture of my friend and I by the pool. We had worked so hard throughout last year, so we decided to take the day off and relax in the pool. We went to the first pool, made payment and proceeded to the pool side but the pool was dirty, the receptionist said the pool guard wasn't available to clean the pool. I think that was very incompetent of them because they were supposed to have an assistant or have the pool guard clean the pool before he left. However, they couldn't give us a refund of the money transferred to their company's account. We were 3 in number, two people paid for the swimming in cash, while i made a transfer to their company's account. She refunded the cash but said she can't transfer my money back to me. I was upset because i can't just let the money go to waste. She gave me an option of getting a drink worth the money for the swimming. I agreed and got a can drink.
My friends and I were sad, we didn't want the day to just go to waste, i started looking for another location. After brainstorming for a while, we settled for a pool in a gym. I ordered a ride and we left for the new location. We made payment and headed for the dressing room. A number of girls were there undressing already, my friends were shy to get undressed but i tried my best to convince them. We wore our swimsuits and got into the pool. It was a really fun experience. We made new friends in the water, danced, laughed, played ball and i met a pool guard there who offered to teach me how to swim for free.
It was a really exciting day.

What makes this picture special?

The picture is really special to me because it is the first time we spent our free time together away from work. We didn't think about work, or our bosses, we just had a great time. I haven't seen her since that day, she has been really busy. I look at the picture and smile whenever I miss her.

Was it any special event, or something that quickly caught your eye

It wasn't really a special event because we weren't celebrating anything but I'd say it was a special day for us. It was just a girl's time out. We were rewarding ourselves for a job well done throughout the year.

Did it remind you of any story or inspire you to write for our story

It reminded me of the first time I went to the pool with my siblings on Christmas day some years ago. Though it's been long but the picture is very vivid in my memory.
I wasn't feeling too well, I'm sugarcoating it, lol, i was sick. Its the worst thing to be sick during Christmas. I wasn't able to eat well, dance or have fun with my family and friends.
When my dad offered to take us to the amusement park, i was happy even though I knew i wasn't really strong to participate in activities. I dressed up and we left for the park.
When I got there, there was a pool and I immediately knew that was where i should be. Although I didn't go with any swimsuit, i used the singlet and tight under my dress to swim. At first i was cold, then later, the water got warm. i made new friends and I refused to get out the water till we were ready to go. I didn't jump on the bouncing castle or do the bumper car rides but i didn't regret it because the time I spent in the pool was "hours well spent".

Was it taken by you or any professional photographer?
The picture was taken by the third person in our group. We were done swimming and about to go when we decided to take the picture for memory's sake. I'm really happy we did.
