Last week, I told us that we went around after giving out the aid for last week to search for schools that will accept the food aid and to notify them of our program. We saw about 3 different schools but only one accepts that we carry out the outreach in their school. The other 2 schools said that their kids parents won't allow that. They were very serious with it and we had to leave them.

Getting to this other school that @kidi40 directed us to, we met with both the head teacher and the school Proprietor. It sounded too good to them and they truly wanted us to do it for the kids. Well, after agreement as to when to come for the outreach, we left and got ready for it. I made sure to buy the noodles since they wanted uncooked food. I also bought fuel for the car we went with.

On Wednesday which was when we agreed to be there, I notified the team about our movement. Already they are aware of our movement for Wednesday. So those that wanted to go indicated interest and when it was time, we zoomed off.

However, our car stopped at the junction that leads to the school and refused to on again. All efforts to make it move proved abortive. We had to call on a mechanic to come check it out. After much checks it was discovered that the fuel pump had a problem with the wires inside. They had to fix it. By then, it was already past 12noon. Before they fixed it, we took motorbikes to the location and left Okere-blessing and Benton3 to come afterwards. Thankfully, before the kids could all come out, they arrived at the school.

We began arranging the kids accordingly to be able to attend to them. Later, we played musics for them to dance to. This music made them to relax with us and feel at ease. Mehn, these kids have vibes. They dance and danced with us for sometimes. Then we started sharing the noodles to more than 100 of them. The school is more than 200 that we had to divide the kids in 2 to be able to attend to one part this week and then go back next week and attend to the rest.

We gave each of them 2 packs of noodles each and this made them so happy and excited. We started again to dance to other musics that made them happy and joyful. We were able to spot some kids that can dance too well. The video that I am going to attach to this post will explain better.

At the end of the outreach, the school Proprietor was so excited that she was even moved to buy us drinks. According to her, we really put smiles on the faces of the kids and that made her so happy and out of appreciation, she offered us the drinks you can see in the pictures above. She also offered to pay party of the cash we used in repairing the vehicle because we explained to her when we were late. But we turned down the cash offer, telling her that there was no need for her to give such gifts. But we told her that we will accept the drinks since she already bought them. Sje also took a picture with the team as you can see her in the picture above. Do you also know that this woman danced with me and the kids during the outreach? The video will make your day after watching it.

The pictures are above are the team that represented that day. All 6 of us went and did the distribution. We were @okere-blessing @kidi40 @bossj23 @benton3 @chichigirl and myself.

What I love so much about this school is the appreciative heart of the kids and the Proprietor. Do you know that even the kids that weren't attended to were still happy with us and bidded is farewell as we were going. But we promised them to revisit by next week and it will be on a Friday as agreed. The kids are really in need of this food aids. Whenever any of the kids see me on the way, they are usually very happy and they don't fell to call on me, greete nicely and even explain the school they met me. It's a good deed to reach out to these kids. I wish this outreach will continue but the fund will determine it's duration.

Thank you all, until next week's.

Note that both pictures and videos were taken by bossj23 and kid140. Kidi40 used my device to record while bossj23 used his.

Wednesday food aid distribution was indeed one of it's kind, the smile we spread and smile we got back, I didn't even expect the whole action from them but it happened anyway. I enjoy your post and I won't miss next week execution.
