Importance of irrigation in agriculture cultivation and water resource management
Especially in an agricultural nation like Indonesia, irrigation is absolutely critical for crop development. Fundamental need for water among plants, irrigation ensures a steady supply of it even in the drought. Water in Indonesian agriculture techniques promotes root growth, dissolves soil minerals for plant absorption, preserves soil moisture, and nourishes plants. Good irrigation is directly related to rising agricultural output.
Two kinds of irrigation sources exist in farming: artificial and natural. Natural sources include river, lakes, springs, and rain water. Reservoirs, dams, technical irrigation canals, drilled wells, and water pumps all provide sources of artificial irrigation.
Although lowland farmers depend mostly on pumped wells or rainwater harvesting, those in parched or mountainous areas rely much on technical irrigation from dams or rivers. High expenses for irrigation mostly result from inefficient water distribution networks, bad channel maintenance, and too much fuel consumed for water pumps.
Use of alternative energy sources such solar power, installation of water-saving systems such sprinkler or drip irrigation, and repair of irrigation channels would reduce these expenses.
It is impossible to exaggerate the part that irrigation plays in raising crop output. Proper irrigation lets farmers more flexibly control planting times, speed up plant growth, and even allow for many yearly harvests. Moreover, irrigation supports production stability amid unpredictable weather.
In my opinion, participating in preserving these water sources is rather important through environmental protection campaigns and education. Sustainable water management is vital for guaranteeing the future food supply and the agricultural sustainability. Good and efficient irrigation management helps the agricultural industry develop more sustainably, productively, and lucratively for the good of the general public as well as the farmers.

Hola
El riego es importante para las plantas algunos agricultores depende del agua de lluvia para sus plantas por tal razón siembra en en la época de lluvia.
Y el agua hay que cuidarla y no desperdiciar ya que es fuente de vida
