Firstly I want to thank @abdul-rakib for organizing this wonderful and interesting contest.

What are the types of artificial and natural sources of irrigation in agriculture? Which source do you use in agriculture?

Irrigation is very important for agriculture, let say irrigation is the heart of agricultural plant because I think without it plants will not survive.

Irrigation is of two types; natural and artificial irrigation.

Natural sources include rivers, rainwater, stream and groundwater from springs or aquifers.

Artificial sources include canals, borewells, tanks, tube wells drip irrigation system and sprinklers.

These control the amount and timing of water supplied to crops . Though I have a little knowledge about farming but if want to go into farming I will prefer using tube wells and a drip system because tube wells provide consistent water from underground and drip system help save water by supplying it directly to the plant roots.

Reasons for excessive cost of irrigation and how can it be reduced?

Artificial irrigation can be very expensive but also helpful.

Why I say is expensive is that the cost of buying fuel to pumps the water or installing system like sprinkler, so money needed for them to function well.

I think the only way to reduce cost or cut down some expensive is to line canals, reduce water linkage and also make use of solar powered pumps that's also help to save money.

What role does irrigation play in increasing crop production?

Irrigation plays a very big role in increasing crop production, like I said before irrigation is the heart of agricultural plants because without water I don't think plants will grow well. Artificial irrigation help improves the yield and quality of crops during dry season .

How can natural water sources be controlled?

Controlling natural water sources is important in managing water effectively and also prevent water scarcity, like rainwater, lakes etc must be used wisely.

The ways we can control is by collecting rainwater in tanks or pond, building dams, water shed management that's conserving soil and water in a specific area to prevent soil erosion and increase ground water levels.

In my opinion managing of both natural and artificial water sources is important for long term agricultural productivity.

I'm inviting @promisezella, @gloriaho and @etoro to join the contest...

Yeah, certainly water is almost all our plants need to grow well.
Practicing irrigation will be so helpful.

Thanks for your enlightenment..

El riesgo es muy importante es la manera de tener un buen cultivo .por lo tanto hay que aprovechar los recursos que tenemos para regar.
E. Mi país se aprovecha la temporada de lluvia , y este tipo de agua nutre más a las plantas
