Tonight I would like to review one of the savory fried rice during I stay in Madiun City, East Java. Well, welcome to ”Kedai Cholita Thailand Foof what3words.com at Banda Street, Madiun Lor, Madiun City, East Java.
It’s not really difficult to find this cafe, when you found EF Madiun City (English School), in front of it there is a small alleyway, Banda Street therefore you just need to go straight & you will find them there.

Cholita based on their names, the owner plus his wife, namely Mr. Cholil & Mrs. Kartika Prasetya. So that’s why they put their names in their mini cafe. The owner plus the staff only Mr. Cholil and his wife. I am over the moon looked at them, how they built their good teamwork each others when the customers always come & go to get dinner there.
They open their mini cafe starts at 4 pm up to 8 or 9 pm when their food is already finish, especially in the month of Ramadhan. If in the normal days, they open earlier about 2 or 3 pm until their food is finish, up to 8 or 9 pm, too.
Mr. Cholil as a chef and his wife as waitress, I meant to help him to give the great service to the customers plus do the dishes. MasyaaAllah, they are amiable. They really gave a good service to us & others customer plus fast response, too. They keep cleaning also their mini cafe area.
Let me tell you also that the owner plus chef of Kedai Cholita Thailand Food what3words.com at Banda Street, Madiun Lor, Madiun City, East Java is ex chef in Malaysia plus Thailand and already got certificate coz as long as I listen his story that he followed cooking school when he was in Malaysia. He also became a chef in some of cafe or resto & hotel in those countries. However he is such as a humble guy. Hats off. |

They sell a plenty of variants food such as fried rice, Tomyum, noodles, chicken. One of the uniqueness, the cheff plus the owner told me that he made a lot of creation plus inovation by himself for his cooking, I meant his food.
For the fried rice, he create special fried rice with Tom Yum. Yep, you eat the fried rice with Tom Yup soup. I was pretty shocked yet amaze also to him at that time when he was trying to explain about some food.
He made also curry fried rice, USA fried rice, Hongkong fried rice, Cholita special fried rice, village fried rice, blackpepper fried rice, soup seafood fried rice, Seafood fried rice, salted fried rice and so on. They told me one of the best seller in their mini cafe is Cholita special fried rice
Kedai Cholita Thailand Food, Madiun City also sells 6 variants of Tomyum, there are Chicken Tomyum, Seafood Tomyum, Vermicelli Tomyum, Noodles Tomyum, Kwetiau Tomyum & Mix Tomyum. For the soup 5 variants, namely chicken soup, Noodles soup, vermicelli soup, kwetiau soup & Cap Cay.
For the noodles, there are soup noodles, fried noodles, Rendang noodles, special Cholita fried noodles, Hongkong noodles, Kungfu kwetiau, special Cholita kwetiau, fried kwetiau & so forth.
Then for the chicken, you can choose chicken bell pepper, red chicken, soy sauce chicken, Rica-rica chicken, Ki Papa chicken, 3 flavors chicken and etcera. Variant eggs just has 2 variants, such as Fuyung Hay & omelette or sunny side-up egg.
Don’t worry about the costs of their the food and beverages. It’s afordable price yet give a good quality plus savory food and tasty drinks.
I guarantee you won’t regret about it. Range prices for the food start from IDR 3,000 or 1.46 Steem only for the rice furthermore IDR 12,000 or 5.84 Steem for fried rice or noodles up to IDR 30,000 or 14.6 Steem. Alright, for the beverages start from IDR 3,000 or 1.46 Steem up to IDR 7,000 or 3.4 Steem.
It definitely corrects, mates, the food and beverages have affordable price. Not only that, the tasty also, hmmm..., it’s so tasty. The beverages also fresh. The plates and the glasses also are clean. They provide some tissue boxes also on the tables. There are some traditional crackers also they hang on the wall.

They told me approximately several years ago, they open their cafe in front of Wizzmie Madiun City yet now they already moved to their own house. Even though rather small yet they try their best to make the comfy & cozy place for their customers. Around Kedai Cholita Thailand Food, Madiun City a bunch of pretty plants. The design of that cafe just simply yet in my humble opinion is elegant. The background of the wall is yellow with full colours of window & door (their house) & the tables plus the benches wooden colours & made by wood.
At that time I and my friend ordered two portions of fried rice plus two glasses of beverage. I ordered a portion of Cholita special fried rice and the price is IDR 18,000. If we convert to Steem is about 8.76 Steem. I ordered a glass of ice lemon tea & I should pay IDR 5,000 or 2.43 Steem.
Meanwhile my friend ordered a portion of Seafood fried rice & the cost is IDR 18,000. She ordered a glass of ice orange juice & the price is IDR 4,000 or 1.94 Steem. We asked them to give us just a little sugar.

Hmmm, we are a happy bunny for the taste of our fried rice. Cholita special fried rice, mine is so delicious. I can smell & taste it that full of spice herbs. They wrapped the fried rice with big omelete like a cube. I am falling in love at the first sight with the taste of Cholita special fried rice.
Alhamdulillah my gorgeous friend also gave the same response. Her seafood frice is so yummy. That’s full of seafood such prawns, calamari, scallops then shredded chicken, too.
We couldn't deny that the ice lemon tea plus orange juice also are so fresh. We promise to ourself that InsyaaAllah we will visit this savory cafe again, Kedai Cholita Thailand Food, Madiun City next time.
Bravely I am so confident to recommend you this savory cafe. Do not doubt with the taste of their food. Yeah, after eat once, you want more & more then will make a plan to visit their cafe again. Sure, their food is halal due to the fact that the owner is a moeslem. In that freezing evening, I treat my friend well.
