The Dairy Game: My Public Holiday Experience (16-07-2025)

Hey lovies. @nhiemfon01 is here again to share her wonderful day experience with you. Hope you are having a stress-free day. I didn't go to school today because the Federal Government of Nigeria declared today public holiday in respect to the deceased former president, Muhammad Buhari. I was so excited to be spending all day at home.

Myself!!!

After family prayers, I went back to bed. I woke up again by 6am to prepare breakfast. My younger sister had exams today so she had to go to school. I made rice and stew for breakfast. I bathed her afterwards. While she was dressing up, I packed her lunch bag. I later escorted her to the main road to board a bus to school.

I did my chores when I returned. Baby Miracle came visiting. I played, fed and sang for her. She's really a happy child. When Miracle slept off, I went to spend time with my Aunt. She showed me a couple of styles for the dress she was planning to make and we choosed two out of all the available styles.

By 2pm, I went to pick my younger sister from school. There was a guy in the bus I boarded who was really disturbing my life. He said he wanted to be friends with me but I didn't find him cool in anywhere. I got down before him and I paid my transport fare. I thanked him and left.

When we got home, she had her bath while I prepared lunch. We had bitter leaf soup and swallow for lunch. My aunt prepared the soup while I made the swallow (garri). My younger sister loves swallow a lot. She ate untill she was very full and couldn't walk. She went to bed immediately after eating.

After doing the dishes, I went to my room. I was surfing through my socials when my phone went off. I laid there gazing into the ceiling untill I fell asleep. My mum woke me up in the evening and we headed to church with my siblings. We are currently having a 4-days revival service. Today's service was short and impactful. I charged my phone in church. We headed home after service.

At the close of service

I made dinner for my mum and siblings when I got home. I didn't join them because I didn't feel like eating swallow. I had eat and bread after my mum was done eating. What an amazing a d stress-free day!!! Thank you for engaging in my post. Have a wonderful day .
