Eternal Hope

Hope give us sense of belonging and by the time we achieve what we wanted everyone will be happy with his family and called his friends to celebrate with him with this achievement.

What does the word hope mean to you?

Hope is the positive feeling or expectation toward achieving our long-term goals that will be useful for our personal lives. Everyone has a strong belief that as long as we are alive, we still have hope to overcome the challenges that some of us are battling. Hope inspires everyone to continue doing what he or she is doing, but someday it will result in something that will benefit each and every one of us. It's a positive emotion that keeps pushing individuals to work toward achieving their aims as well as reducing the level of depression among humans. Hope also involves having a strong belief in achieving better results in the near future.

Name a difficult situation where hope has helped you get through it.

There was a time I registered for the JAMB exam, so I chose Oyo State, which is different from the state I am living in. I was posted to Saki; believe me, I didn't know anybody, so I just decided to go with the hope that nothing would harm me because we are in a country where everything is not secure.

I left my state before the exam when I reached Igbeti in Oyo State, I waited at the place of one of my brothers. I told him about the exam and the venue; immediately, he called someone who resides in that area. The person told him that there was no problem and that he had enough space to accommodate us. At that moment, I had hope that I would have a better place to spend the night. I collected his phone number and continued my journey.

I called the person when I reached Saki town because our exam was the next morning. He directed me to his place, and I am glad everything went well with the strong belief that I had. The guy was so nice to me; he gave me food to eat and other things about him were so amazing. I left for the exam in the morning and we finished around 4:00 PM. I called him and thanked him for the accommodations, after which I headed back to my own town safely.

How do you think you can spread hope to others?

We can spread hope to others by giving them our support, as well as strong advice that keeps them motivated in order to chase their dreams. We must share some of our experiences from one occasion so that they can achieve a positive outcome on the particular project they are working on. We must listen to them, as this would give us the ability to understand their challenges, and this serves as an opportunity to make use of resources to help them overcome such challenges. By sharing our stories with others, we help them learn from lessons and use those lessons to achieve their goals.

What recent news has given you hope?

The recent news that gives me hope is when Bitcoin reached an all-time high of $118,000. This still gives me positive hope that Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies will dominate the digital asset in the world. By the end of 2025, it may reach $150,000. Those who bought the dip are now making a lot of profit, especially those who invested heavily. I do not have the wrong impression that cryptocurrency is a fraud; it's a digital asset that has strong potential. I heard from the news that July 14 is the day the US wants to announce that they are the capital of crypto in the world, which shows that every other country will embrace cryptocurrency as their mode of transaction.
