Welcome to my blog distinguished readers. Team wordsmiths has made us cross paths again through another amazing learning challenge. It is true that no man is an island saturated with knowledge and this could be seen in the prompt below.
The prompt |

Suppose a passenger disembarks at one of your country's international airports and proceeds towards the checkout like other passengers. On arrival at checkout, the lady officer on duty looks at his passport for verification.
At first glance, everything seems normal, but when she looks at the name of the country on his passport, she feels shocked because she had never heard the name of that country ever before.
The lady officer at the checking counter finds out that all the official stamps on his passport were right, but only the name of the country mentioned did not exist anywhere on the world map.
His passport was properly stamped on all his previous trips to other countries before this trip.
She seeks for help from other officials but everything about that passenger were confusing to the migration officials. That lady officer was amazed that his documents did not appear fake yet she could not verify them.

Officer Helen has worked in an airport that was always filled with humans from all spheres of life. Yet, none of their locations was ever strange to her owing to her over forty years of experience in this post.
On this day, It was a slow afternoon at the airport where she works. "Next!" she sounded with a neutral tone giving her usual smile and hoping to have a smooth ride as usual. At this point a tall man in a dark coat moved forward, offering an innocent and honest look as he handed his passport across the counter to Helen.
Helen opened the document and realized that his name was Eno Joon and he was born on June 1991. Everything went smoothly until she glanced at his country "Abasiki".
Helen brows furrowed. "Abasiki?" She muttered gazing vigorously at the man whose passport she held firmly. Curiosity made her flip through the pages. Morocco, South Korea, India. "But all the stamps looked original" was the thought on her mind. This is true as the passport had legitimate watermark, dates and verified locations.
"ABA...SI...KI?'' She stressed pulling out the old database map she had abandoned for years due to how much she had known places. At this point, she was beginning to conclude that her suspicions were true.
"Pardon me Sir for the delay, please you will have to wait a little for proper documentation"
Were her words to Eno. The man nodded and she took out her phone and placed a call to Chuks, her Most experienced senior colleague. saying
"Please come quickly there's an urgent situation."
Minutes later, Chuks walked in and appeared deeply frowning while studying through the man's passport. "This is highly contradicting." Chuks murmured "The stamps and watermark looks real but the country doesn't exist.
"Could it be a possible misprint?" Helen asked.
"I doubt if it is. Look at this." Chuks pointed at the embossed seal. It has a rising sun, an open eye and a word "Abasiki, the land of clarity. "I think we call Idara, the Intelligence Officer." Chuks added as she left hurriedly.
At this point Helen had no option than engaging the man in series of questions. "Sir, I would love to ask you few questions" Helen said. "No problem" the man responded.
"Can you tell me where exactly Abasiki is located?" Was Helen's first question. "Between places you might have known yet you rarely look. A place hidden beyond the Politics of secular maps" Eno responded while nodding his head.
"Sir, this is funny.." "Yes, it seems." Eno added has she cut Helen short of words. Abasiki was... Closed up until recently. Now I have been sent on a cultural and peaceful trip of observing." While Helen tried adding more questions, Officer Idara arrived. With her brisk, sharp eye and skeptical looks, she asked "what's the issue?" Pretending not to have been briefed by Chuks.
"This gentleman claims to be an indigenous son of Abasiki, a place that has no place in the map"
Idara took over the pastport, scanned it thoroughly while saying "this could be another prank traveler just as the woman who claimed to come from Lilibem."
"It's not fiction or imaginary," Eno said quietly. This statement pissed Officer Idara and she directly demanded that he tells them what Abasiki is.
Eno took a deep breath. "My country is a sovereign space. We do not engage in any form of conflict, war or hatred. It is a place where all citizens are configured to seek knowledge over conquest "
Now, both three stared at him vigorously, unsure if the man was mentally sound. But "why do you prefer coming here?" Idara asked
"I am here because your country is alive. I am a direct student whose mission is to learn how your people survive without losing joy." At this point, great silence filled the room and Helen added slowly "Let's say we trust and believe you, but why do you choose to reveal yourself?"
"Well, it is because the world is unravelling and Abasiki can no longer stay hidden. However, as a unique people, we must understand before extending our friendship"
Eno responded looking at the three learned people. None could say anything.
Later, Chuks narrowly asked, "If you are allowed to stay, what would you do?" "Learn, listen, study and offer help" Eno responded.
The three officers leaned against their desk, eye narrowed as Idara said "I am still trying to wake up from this dream. Nothing in your document looks' fake '... and your responses and explanations looks logical."
"I think we should recommend a temporary visa for him just for observational purposes."
Helen suggested and the other two had no contradictory suggestions.
Eno slowly appreciated them for the commendations and added that "he would never betray their trust." As he moved towards the exit confidently, his footsteps echoed softly.
. "Aba....si...ki" Officer Idara muttered looking at the pastport again. "Maybe it wasn't in the map, because, it is not yet fully mapped she added as she returned back to her office
