Earth Clock

Consider a clock where the second hand doubles in #length after every second, where the second hand grows and grows each second. We are associating each increment of #time with a #distance. We could have a second represent 0.074 km so that when a full day is over, it equals the approximate radius of #Earth. Or we could make each second 1/2 km to represent the circumference of the Earth. Historically, the #Metric system was designed to be a ratio based on the size of the Earth.

The rate the universe is expanding is thought to be 67 kilometers per second. The earth rotates at 0.46 km per second . This is an attempt to invent new units of measurement that are based on planetary ratio, motion and spin.
