Hello everyone π»,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's a day of gratitude and am feeling quite blessed π―, things could be worse but they certainly aren't.
Let's quickly proceed to breakdown how my day went. You definitely know the drill, come on π¨.
So I began my day with a little bit of stretching then I was out for a walk, actually getting groceries, short but nice walk
It was quite cloudy βοΈ as I made my way. The temps still nice though we had a bit of raining yesterday and looks like it will rain tonight.
Later I was back indoors handling the usual house chores. Then settled down to some you tube videos and trending stories. A little bit of cooking here and thereπΉ.
My final walk was the slow paced sunset π walk around the neighborhood ending up at the park π².
So now lets turn our attention to the trending stories of the day.
Starting off in Gaza the mass murder kept going with 105 Palestinians killed in Israeli shelling, 92 killed at the notorious GHF as they waited to get food aid. Many left empty handed hungry and with dead bodies to bury.
Meanwhile the hunger is taking a toll on the everyone most of all children. Malnutrition is beginning to get widespread, today a three month old baby died of hunger in Khan Younis. A woman was seen collapsing in the streets due to hunger exhaustion.
In the Occupied West Bank, armed Israeli settlers have been destroying the main water pipes that supply water to at least 110,000 people . A deliberate strategy to displace Palestinians out of their land.
Not far off in Syria the ceasefire appeared to be holding as fighting between the Druze and Bedouin tribes cooled off. 260 people have been killed in the recent fighting but today aid trucks arrived with some humanitarian aid for survivors.
In the other war, Ukrainian president Zelensky has called for peace talks with Russia to resume immediately. This after 3 people were killed in widespread Russian airstrikes last night.
In the UK, 55 pro Palestine protesters arrested, they were calling on the ban on Palestinian Action group to be lifted. A UK high court upheld Parliament's designation of Palestine action group as a terrorist organisation. The group says their legal team will keep is continuing to fight for that ban to be reversed.
Japanβs ruling coalition is likely to lose its majority in the upper house, according to an exit poll by local media, potentially fuelling political instability in the worldβs fourth largest economy.
While the ballot does not directly determine whether PM Shigeru Ishibaβs shaky minority government falls, it heaps pressure on the embattled leader who also lost control of the more-powerful lower house in October.
Finally, South Korea trending as deaths reported after heavy rains caused flooding and landslides.
Rescue is underway but remember to keep that country in your prayers.
All's well that ends well π―.
So that's it from me today, see you again tomorrow on an awesome Monday. Until then stay safe, take care and cheerioβ€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π»π―
