Hello everyone π»,
Happy Sunday π and a very warm welcome to my report. It's the day of gratitude and appreciating all of the blessings in our lives π―. No matter how bad things are there's always that glimmer of hope that the best is yet to comeπ―.
Anyways I have had a great day and it's now that time of day to breakdown how it went including the stories that caught my eye π. Let's get things rolling right away π¨.
So I had a quick walk around the neighbourhood. Then I got on with the usual house chores including cooking and laundry.
It has been quite sunnyπ and I was indoors until around sunset when I set out for a walk around Hyde park. After such a hot weekend, heavy rain is forecasted from Tuesday.
Then I got back home just after sunset π and followed up on some of the trending stories.
So that was my day and now let's look at what has been happening around the world π.
The mass murder kept going in Gaza with 92 Palestinians killed in Israeli strikes targeting HamasπΏ. Among those dead were six children hit at a water collection point in Al Nuseirat as they fetched waterπΏ. Israeli army said there was a technical error on the missile that hit the children as they were not the target.
In the other war, North Korean leader, Kim Jon Un landed in Russia for talks with Putin, vowing to keep supporting Putin in his attacks against Ukraineπ.
Several North Korean soldiers have died on the front line fighting for Russia. I wonder what's going on with ceasefire/peace talks, I think Putin is ignoring TrumpπΉ.
Elsewhere Syria trending as UAE's Dubai ports have signed $800 deal to develop the ports of the country.
In the UK, Liverpool have honored their dead team mate, Diogo Jota during a friendly game with Preston North. They have decided to retire Jota's number 20 shirt in his honour and to celebrate all he did for the club before his tragic death in a car crash in SpainπΏ.
Staying with football, across the pond in New Jersey, Chelsea have beaten PSG to win the FIFA club world cup finals.Congratulations to Chelseaππ, well deservedπ―. Trump was in the audience for the match.
Speaking of Trump, he has been naughty with the tariffs hitting the EU and Mexico with 30% tariffsπΉ.
Finally, Jannik Sinner has become the first Italian to win the tennis Wimbledon title after beating Spaniard, Carlos Alcatraz. Congratulations to himππ, that was hard work. He is only 23 so expect many more wins to come from him. Best of luckπ―.
Apart from the heat, that was some great tennis these past few days from Wimbledon, let's wait for next year'sπΉ.
So that's about it, see you tomorrow on an awesome Monday. Until then it's good night π΄ and Adios β€οΈ. Hakuna Matata π» π―.
