In continuation of the story about the Italian resort town of Bordighera, I would like to touch a little on the architecture of the local buildings. Since this place is a real quiet coastal area, there are almost no tall buildings here. They're out there somewhere. but we never got to that part of the city, although from the height of the hill at the foot of which the city is located, we can see some modern buildings and even several cranes that are under construction. I am writing this because, due to such a measured rhythm of life, buildings in the city are mostly small, with few shops or shopping malls. We went to the supermarket for groceries, located almost a kilometer from our house. It is these buildings that are rich in their architectural diversity. There were several administrative buildings and small banks on the street where we lived. There was even a library, a small clinic, and even a real royal palace. It's not very big, but it has a rich history associated with one of the Italian empresses. To be honest, I even got confused about determining whether the decorations of some buildings belong to certain styles. There are both baroque and Italian classics here. There are very few Gothic elements, as well as large and gloomy Romanesque decor. At the same time, every building breathes some kind of indescribable love and warmth. В продолжение рассказа об итальянском курортном городке Бордигера я бы хотел немного коснуться темы аржитектуры здешних зданий. Так как это место - настоящий тихий прибрежный район, здесь почти нет высоких зданий. Они где-то есть. но в ту часть города мы так и не попали, хотя с высоты холма, у подножия которого расположен город, можно разглядеть какие-то современные здания и даже несколько кранов, которые ведут строительство. Это я пишу к тому, что благодаря такому размеренному ритму жизни здания в городе в основном небольшие, имеют мало магазинов или торговых центров. Мы ходили в супермаркет за продуктами, расположенный чуть ли не в километре от нашего дома. Именно эти здания богаты по своему архитектурному разнообразию. На улице, где мы жили располагалось несколько административных зданий и небольших банков. Здесь были даже библиотека, небольшая поликлиника и даже настоящий королевский дворец. Он не очень большой, но у него богатая история, связанная с одной из итальянских императриц. Честно говоря я даже запутался в определении принадлежности декораций некоторых зданий к тем или иным стилям. Здесь присутствует как бароко, так и итальянская классика. Есть совсем немного готических элементов, также крупный и мрачный романский декор.
