That this is meant as an amusement contributes even more to the cynic description. Now I have found some very special Merry-Go-Round in the french city of Nantes, made by some fanatics. They call themselves "MACHINES OF THE ISLE OF NANTES" and intent to bring back to live the industrial background of the city. One of the attractions is a 3 store Merry-Go-Round with beasts from underwater fairy tales that you can embark on a tour.
