Finally today I have completed building my second mining rig as I name it Japan having 6 GPU RX 470 sapphire. This time my decision was clear, I will be using windows 10 home as there is no concern about it. Let me share with you how I did i come up with this conclusion. Referring to mining ethereum using claymore mining , Is there is any different if you are using windows 10 home edition or professional.

So this question jump up to my mind when I was starting to think about mining. So I start to gather information about mining and what is the tools required to do this. When i did a quick search in the Internet about operation systems in which one is preferable, I realize that figuring out this question was not quite easy.

So I have to try it by myself, actually one of my friends was building a rig; so we suggested that one of us will use windows 10 professional and the other one will use home Edition. The reason that I was so concerned about this question is that while I was doing my research about mining I read that it's recommended to use windows 10 professional. To be honest with you my concern with which operation system to use was the cost and since when does 10 home edition is cheaper than windows 10 professional windows 10 home edition was my first option, since I want to avoid any additional costs.

Plan went to action we run both rigs of them is using windows 10 professional and the other one is using windows 10 home edition. Well the results were so disappointing, because i lost $109.98 and actually both of them were running perfect and there is totally no difference between them , but the little secret that I want to reveal is that you don't need to have a genuine copy of windows. the copied one with no secret key will do the job. **Please put a comment, and thanks for upvoting**
