There is little light, in the distance you can only see small white flashes. When looking at the sky it is impossible not to be amazed at the large number of stars that there are, hardly can be fully observed when the light completely illuminates the nights. They are well defined, and although they seem to move, they remain static in the firmament, as spectators of what is happening to us, spectators who cannot influence the events that are yet to come. I hear my own voice with a peculiar echo inside my mind, when speaking the echo is maintained, it is impressive to have these problems and not even to be worried about them. I think it is better to walk, maybe at the end of this path I will find some answer to what is happening, where I am, and if I am really alone. I can only hear the pieces of wood falling and shattering as it hits the ground. I can't stay here, I need to know about my family, I need to check that they are okay. I scream to the limits that I didn't know myself, but nobody answers me, the door is on the floor, I have to go in. I don't know what happened yet, but what my eyes see is the complete destruction of my home, I don't have the slightest clue where my family can be, I look for them desperately, but I don't have answers. I assume that they should have escaped, I wish that they were far away and safe from this hell, I would not tolerate something happening to them. I run along the main street of the neighborhood, I look at the sky, and next to the stars I don't see any kind of vehicle, the screams of the people who ran vanished before I could notice their existence. On the floor lie destroyed all the pollinators without the light they have on the back lit, the plants remain without flowers, and the trees burn in an intense flame. The harvest time has been completely destroyed, nothing remains. The great buildings of the city, now reduced to a great mountain of rubble, the only source of light, is the fire that is still in them. The cries of people are heard again, that good to know that I am not alone, I need to ask for the whereabouts of my family, I need to know that they are well. At last I see a crowd of terrified people, trying to help the wounded who are trapped under the rubble, it is difficult to help them in the midst of so much darkness, the flashlights do not seem to be enough. I need to talk to one of them. I run towards them, but I fall into a hole. I don't understand what is happening, I keep falling and don't feel the touch of the wind, I keep falling and I know that time passes, my thoughts change, and my consciousness remains intact. I do not remember that on the floor there was a hole of such magnitude, perhaps this is my end, and when I reach the bottom, it is the moment of my death. I have been falling for too long, the height must be enormous, I have no way out, I have no escape, my destiny is totally defined and I can do nothing to change it. At last I fall, but I keep thinking, I didn't feel the blow, I didn't feel pain. I'm in a big box illuminated by a dim blue light. I need to get out of here and find my family. I scream, but every time I scream the box lights up even more, I try to hit it, but the same thing happens, the stronger my blows the more intense its light becomes. Hay poca luz, a lo lejos se ven solo pequeños destellos blancos. Al mirar al cielo es imposible no asombrarse con la gran cantidad de estrellas que hay, difícilmente se les puede observar a plenitud cuando la luz alumbra completamente las noches. Están bien definidas, y aunque parecieran moverse, se mantienen estáticas en el firmamento, como espectadoras de los que nos está sucediendo, espectadoras que no pueden influir en los eventos que aún están por llegar. Escucho mi propia voz con un eco peculiar dentro de mi mente, al hablar el eco se mantiene, es impresionante tener estos problemas y ni siquiera estar preocupado por ellos. Creo que es mejor caminar, quizá al final de este camino encuentre alguna respuesta de lo que está pasando, de donde estoy, y si en realidad estoy solo. Nadie atiende mis llamados, he estado caminando por media hora y no logro ver absolutamente nada, esta oscuridad es aterradora, opaca mis pensamientos y diluye la percepción del tiempo. Ya no quiero seguir acá, la impotencia del no saber está acabando con mi cordura, con mi paciencia, y con mis ganas de caminar. A lo lejos sigo viendo el mismo destello blanco, aunque al parecer se ha hecho un poco más grande, creo que debo seguir caminando, de todas formas, no tengo otra opción… Acabo de salir del inmenso cuarto que contenía mi cuerpo y mis pensamientos, el brillo del fuego perturba mi visión. Hay mucho ruido, al parecer la gente está corriendo. Necesito saber que pasó. Poco a poco mi vista se va aclarando, me doy cuenta en donde estos, estoy en mi ciudad, en la calle que está justo al frente de mi casa. Pero mi casa no está. Solo hay escombros, hay fuego en cada uno de los rincones, lo postes de luz han sido derribados, las casas adyacentes está prácticamente destruidas. Solo escucho los trozos de madera caer y hacerse pedazos al impactar con el suelo. No me puedo quedar acá, necesito saber de mi familia, necesito comprobar que estén bien. Grito hasta los límites que yo mismo desconocía, pero nadie me responde, la puerta está en el piso, tengo que entrar. No sé lo que sucedió aun, pero lo que ven mis ojos es la destrucción completa de mi hogar, no tengo la más mínima pista de donde puede estar mi familia, los busco desesperadamente, pero no tengo respuestas. Asumo que debieron haber escapado, deseo que estén lejos y a salvo de este infierno, no soportaría que algo les pasara. Corro por la calle principal del vecindario, miro al cielo, y junto a las estrellas no veo ningún tipo de vehículo, los gritos de las personas que corrían se desvanecieron antes de que pudiera notar su existencia. En el piso yacen destruidos todos los polinizadores sin la luz que poseen en la parte posterior encendida, las plantas permanecen sin flores, y los arboles arden en una llama intensa. La época de cosecha ha sido totalmente destruida, no queda nada. Los grandes edificios de la ciudad, ahora están reducidos a una gran montaña de escombros, la única fuente de luz, es el fuego que todavía hay en ellos. Los gritos de las personas se escuchan de nuevo, que bueno saber que no estoy solo, necesito preguntar por el paradero de mi familia, necesito saber que están bien. Por fin veo una multitud de personas aterradas, tratando de ayudar a los heridos que están atrapados debajo de los escombros, es difícil auxiliarlos en medio de tanta oscuridad, las linternas no parecen ser suficientes. Necesito hablar con alguno de ellos. Corro hacia ellos, pero caigo en un agujero. No entiendo que pasa, sigo cayendo y no siento el roce del viento, Sigo cayendo y sé que el tiempo pasa, mis pensamientos cambian, y mi conciencia permanece intacta. No recuerdo que en el piso hubiese un agujero de tal magnitud, quizá es este mi final, y cuando llegue al fondo, sea el momento de mi muerte. He estado cayendo por demasiado tiempo, la altura debe ser enorme, no tengo salida, no tengo escapatoria, mi destino está totalmente definido y no puedo hacer nada para cambiarlo. Al fin caigo, pero sigo pensando, no sentí el golpe, no sentí dolor. Estoy en una gran caja iluminada con una tenue luz azul. Necesito salir de acá y encontrar a mi familia. Grito, pero cada vez que grito la caja se ilumina aun mas, intento golpearla, pero sucede lo mismo, mientras más fuertes son mis golpes más intensa se hace su luz. Escucho los gritos de las personas a las afueras de donde sea que este. Hay una compuerta, pero no puedo subir, no puedo ni siquiera trepar, es como si estuviera atado al suelo, condenado a estar en el piso. En una de las paredes de la caja se podía leer: ***

Después de varias horas, logro abrir una ventana que estaba a mis espaldas, puedo ver nuevamente la ciudad, sigue en llamas, la gente sigue muriendo, y la luz es cada momento más escasa. No puedo seguir acá encerrado, sin poder ayudarlos, sin poder hacer nada. En el horizonte, logran observase varias explosiones, no puedo ni siquiera imaginar la cantidad de personas heridas o muertas que hay en cada uno de estos desastres, la luz relampagueante de estos, son aprovechadas por los rescatistas para salvar a los que aun no han corrido con el fatal destino. Esta temblando, el piso cruje, y las pocas estructuras que aun se mantenían en pie, caen, produciendo un estruendoso sonido que ilumina enormemente la caja, quedo enceguecido. Apenas recobro la visión, puedo ver a lo lejos un grupo de bomberos rescatando unos cuerpos sin vida, las lagrimas en mi ojos mi impiden enfocar bien la imagen, son… – “Hey”, Dijo Dylan – “Hey, tú”, Dijo Dylan – “Christian, mira la hora que es, no es momento para descansos prologados”, Dijo Dylan Finalmente, Christian abre los ojos, su mirada es confusa, no entiende mucho lo que está pasando, pero muy en el fondo, es el hombre más feliz de haber sido despertado. – “Marie, ya se fue, mi pidió el favor de que te llamara, me dijo que no habías podido dormir bien, así que decidió dejarte dormir un rato mas, ni siquiera escuchaste la alarma”, Dijo Dylan – “Ya deja de verme así, apúrate, no quiero llegar tarde. Además hoy comienza el nuevo proyecto y estoy muy emocionado. Pero primero ve y báñate, aun estas con sueño, debemos estar al 100% hoy más que nunca, no querrás que ocurra algún accidente ¿Verdad?”, Dijo Dylan Gracias por leer.
