Steemit Inc has announced that it is looking to recruit more Country Representatives. They are inviting applications from people both in countries where there are already Reps and in those countries that currently have none. Applicants need to have been active on Steem for 3 months or more and have at least 500 SP. Successful applicants will receive a delegation of 5000 SP as a Country Rep. 3. Security Alert - Check Your Authorities

The hacking of accounts to send funds to 'molly2' and then 'robertl13' that began about a week ago has continued. This current round of hacking does not appear to be connected with the usual 'phishing attacks' and so the finger of suspicion is turning towards account authorities (Auth's) given to old / untended apps in the past that have now somehow been compromised. It is very important for your account security to revoke any posting or active authorities to any apps that are not currently required.
