Good evening my fellow steemians, I want to make a post about [Godswill Akpabio international Stadium](https://maps.app.goo.gl/uqi37V9ummZ2dc3x5). The Godswill Akpabio international Stadium in my country is located in New stadium Rd off Mbierebe ,uyo Akwa ibom, Nigeria . The stadium is owned by Akwa ibom. The stadium is named after senator Godswill Akpabio because when he was the governor of Akwa ibom state he's the one that build the stadium for his people and for the country. The stadium was built in the year 2012 and launch the year 2014 . The stadium is approved by FIFA for international matches because of its standard.The stadium have a capacity of 30,000 with modern facilities around the stadium so that's why it's approved by the FIFA. The stadium can also be used for other purposes apart from football matches like celebrations of any organization, church programs and many. I was invited to a church convention by one of our beloved steemian (@ngoenyi), to come attend the convention , though it was a three days convention and the venue of the convention was the Godswill Akpabio international Stadium . The numbers of delegate was over 30,000 on the third day of the convention.

My country home matches against other countries is always played in the stadium,so since the stadium is closed to the axis I stay ,I always endeavor to go watch my country play and it's always amazing as well watching my country playing with other countries in our own very stadium. I'm always happy and thankful to senator Godswill Akpabio for making it possible for my state and country to have a nice looking stadium with modern facilities which enabled the stadium approval by the FIFA and this means that any home international matches can be played in the stadium, also other activities can be carry out on the stadium with permission from the management.
