Who will benefit?

| |--| Two months ago, you were introduced by @patjewell to Cedarwood Learning Centre, in Ballito, South Africa. A school that received no support funding from the government and who must subsidize its teachers while it is doing its best to educate children with disabilities, who were bullied attending a normal school, and children who experienced difficulties learning. |

How will the school benefit?

| |--| The school currently has one dream and that is for a touch interactive whiteboard. This will enable the teachers to involve the children in active learning. This technology is a great equalizer for teaching children with special needs while engaging them on a different level and by keeping them engaged. After investigating, researching, and speaking with other schools it was clear that the touch interactive board is not the solution for the school. The school needs more than just the board. They also need the operating system. With the investigation, a completed Infrared Interactive System was discovered. What makes this system nice is that it is portable, and it transforms any flat surface into a touch Electronic Whiteboard. There is thus no longer a requirement for the whiteboard. This Interactive Whiteboard System also allows the teachers the ability to rotate the use of the system in their classrooms. The teaching of Mathematics, Natural Science and Technology, Life Skills, and Social Sciences on a touch interactive system is now a reality. What is the cost?

| |--| The cost for the original touch interactive whiteboard was; Cost: R 11 839 (South African Rand) = 3078 STEEM This will now be replaced with the Interactive Whiteboard System Cost: R 6 099 (South African Rand) = +/- 2031 STEEM * Price of STEEM on 11 November 2022 Not only are we supporting a better system, but it also prevents large STEEM disbursement as WSP chooses to provide assist by reducing STEEM disbursement. |
