Today's recipe is, *just as the title suggests*, pasta with squid and octopus. ![ruth cooks divider gif.gif](https://images.hive.blog/DQmU4XUkKhK6PgdpaYFxuV7hEuMZ5hswaPcByRuQVyL6Ewt/ruth%20cooks%20divider%20gif.gif) **Ingredients** - a packet of pasta - a packet of seafood mix *(I chose squid and octopus)* - a cup of tomato sauce - a tb of mustard - grated onion - grated garlic *(how much depends on how much **you** like it)* - olive oil - salt - black pepper - smoked paprika - allspice ![cooking dividers (1).png](https://images.hive.blog/DQma9Dna12fds8fmE8pPdwsAitmEoq6CCse5MWuiwaA6dfa/cooking%20dividers%20(1).png) **Preparation** You first boil your pasta. When it's done pour it over a bowl, keep some of the water in a second bowl and in the same cooking pan pour some oil and chaute the onion and garlic. Next, add the seafood and let them cook for a couple of minutes *(always depending on the type of seafood you choose)*. I let the squid and octopus for a couple of minutes as they were cut in very small pieces. Then, add the spices and mustard, the tomato sauce and a cup of the pasta water. *Be careful with the salt: If you boil your pasta in salted water, then go easy with the salt for the sauce. It's better to add salt at the end of your cooking while the sauce is still hot, rather than adding too much from the beginning.
