A few weeks ago we were joking about driving an hour and a half north to visit a general store that has a huge selection of jerky. Saturday, Tegan mentioned it and much to his surprise, I said "let's go!". I messaged my cousin that lives up near there and asked if he wanted to go rock hunting on the beach of Lake Michigan after we visited the store. He told me it was going to rain all day but ended up telling me to grab some rain ponchos and lets go. We drove 70 miles just to get jerky.... Go for it! Ostrich? Sure! Kangaroo? He decided on BBQ Elk, the kid is smart! It was probably the best of all the ones we tried.
