**| |- A beautiful Day it was. I Woke up, did my chores, went out with my little nice to buy breakfast. Got back home served breakfast. Since my aunt was busy I had to start the cooking process hoping she will finish and join me.

- - - We had bought the ingredients the previous day, so after breakfast I dived into getting things ready for cooking. The menu was **Ekwang**. I started with peeling the cocoyams, afterwards I washed them very well and grated the cocoyam to obtain cocoyam paste.

- - - I then washed my leaves which I used to tie the cocoyam paste. I salted my cocoyam paste, mixed and started tying. My grandma assisted me inorder for us to be quick and finish fast.

- - - When we were done, I ground the spices **( Pepper, county onion, onions, bush pepper, etc)** while waiting for my aunt to finish with her laundry soo she can continue the cooking process but she said I should just go ahead with the cooking. - - - I placed my pot on the fire and let it cook for about 5 mins while boiling water I would use in cooking the Ekwang on the other side of the fire. After heating the Ekwang for about 5mins, I added small quantity of the hot water allowing it to cook for about 20-30mins. After which I added the required quantity of water added my grounded spices, Crayfish, Maggi and salt to taste. Then I let it cook for some time then added my Palm oil. After about 2-3mins, The food was ready. Unfortunately I dint take a picture of it. As I was in haste to go to the bank and get money that was sent through me for the house. I bath, I dint even eat, I hurriedly dressed ran out to the bank. Got there met a queue of people so had to wait for my turn. I filled in my info as required and waited for about 30mins before they could reach my turn. I collected and returned home, ate and watch some movie before I retired to bed.
