The Diary Game: Buying Oil From The Palm-Oil Market 11-07-2025

Hello ladies and gentlemen of steemit, It's your friend @joychi102, so I was passing by and I decided to pause and share with you how my day went. I have read the ones I could and I like it that we all have something to say our day both good or bad.

I started my day by going to the oil market very early in the morning, infact I was at the market when the heavy rain came. When it stopped I bought the palm-oil and came back to the shop, my eyes were still very much red because of the way sleep was still disturbing me.

When I came back, my husband gave me hot water to bath then I changed the clothes I wore to the market, kids were being taken to the school by my sister and the only thing I did was to eat.

After I finished eating, my husband told me he will be selling in the shop for the day so that I and the kids can rest then during the weekend that he won't be around I will be the one to sell, I was okay with what he said so I started preparing what the kids will come back and eat when they will be back from school.

I made list of the things I needed to buy in the market so I told my husband about it and he transferred the money to me then I went to the market, I like coming to this market because things are always cheap unlike Akpan Andem market.

When I came back from the market I began to prepare what the kids will come back and eat. I made banga soup with garri so that it will take us throughout the weekend and besides there was rice also so that won't be an issue anyways.

After eating I slept and had my rest for the afternoon and when I woke up the time it was getting to evening period, my kids were back, I slept and didn't even set alarm for myself, if not that my sister was around and brought them back home, i would have just slept off like that.

When it was evening my kids told me they won't eat soup that they wanted to eat rice, this thing got me really angry but anyways I still had to go ahead and cook the rice for them, very soon they won't be making this demands again.

After we all finished eating, I cleaned up everywhere and made my kids bed and our bed. My husband came back from the shop and also ate then I tried to write my diary but I was carried away by sleep so I yielded and I am very sorry for that.
